Thanks, Gayle, for the tips to be healthy during the winter.  Like the ones about not sweating and not eating raw or cold foods.  Sure would like to get up with the sun, but work comes before the sun gets up, so will have to get that kind of sleep on the weekends.  Stay warm, drink hot teas, eat hot food everyone and we will be healthy and ready for spring.  Leslie

I am just grateful for the days the sun DOES come out - makes the season much more easy to take - pretty actually.  One year in the not too distant past we went 32 days without sun.....that makes people crabby.

Hi AJ Friends. So excited about the new album. Read about it on the home page. Have already pre-orderred it.
It will be 22 tonight in my suburb of Atlanta. But going up to the 50's tomorrow.

Everyone please pray for the people of Haiti who have endured a massive earthquake.

Still cold here, but warming up a little.  Mid-30's today and for the next week.  Feels like a heat wave compared to what we have been having.

JeanAZ and everyone else who has been sick, GET WELL!!   Hope you all are feeling better - the AJ album should help!!

Saying many prayers for the poor people of Haiti - so sad.l

Just a quick note here as I am typing with one hand.  I hurt my left shoulder (which I had surgery on 15 years ago) and it is very difficult to type.  It's amazing how much you can't do with one arm as I remember well from surgery.  And sleeping is almost impossible.  If it doesn't get better soon I will have to go to the doctor.  I've been keeping busy with all the normal things, plus looking for a job.  I can at least play my games with the mouse...LOL

It has been so nice here compared to the rest of the country (world).  We have a string of storms coming in this weekend but we do need the rain and snow very much.  Just hate the wind, especially when it is cold.  Everyone East of me will be happy with the coming weather, the past couple weeks here have been in the 60's.

Thank you to all who have emailed me asking if I was alright.  I think I have finally caught up as much as I could after all the company over the holidays.

Looking forward to the new album, sure do love the new song.

I do read everyday and hope all those who have been or are ill are feeling better.  Prayers for those that need them as well as the people of Haiti.
