Stopping by to Hi!  Haven't even been on my home computer the last couple of days.  It's been really busy at work & can't seem to make it past 9pm at night.   I think my body is telling me to retire!!!  LOL   9 more months (but whose counting?)!!

For those of you going to see Alan at Cracker Barrel - say hi for me!!!  I'm green with envy!   I'll be at our CB on Monday for dinner!  Can't wait to hear the two new songs - love any new music from THE most talented songwriter in Country Music!

I've seen the play Wicked and really enjoyed it!  Haven't read the book & probably won't.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi to all!
Very busy at work.  Will read and post more this weekend!  My life seems crazy.

But I did make reservations to fly to Florida in January.  Hubby is going to the national veterinarian conference.  I couldn't let him go alone....to party!

Hope all is well with my AJ fans.  Sure could use an AJ fix again!

Kathy you will enjoy being retired.I know
we thought the time would go slow but it
seemed it went faster as we were on the
go all the time.
Sue enjoy your trip to Florida. My neice had
to take her vets training in Saskatchwen.
She was lucky when she finished .The clinic
she worked in one of the fellows was retiring.
She then became a partner.
Went over to where the men were working
yesterday and the fellow said they were cleaning
the creek bottom of silt so we would not have any flooding.
Las tnight was the first night they turned  off that noisy machine.

Happy Halloween AJ Friends. It is raining here all day & I feel sorry for the trick-or-treaters getting out in this messy weather. Will be getting colder as the day goes on too.

Terry- glad you were able to work in a trip to Nashville for the Cracker Barrel Opening.

Kathy- Glad to see you counting the days to retirement. Speaking from personal experience you will love it.

Sharon- Glad your grandson's team is winning.

Sue- Know you're looking forward to Florida.

Jeri- Hope your health is OK- I am much better.

Elaine- Our rain is back- we are really getting tired of it. But you have snow to deal with so I should count my blessings.

See you all in the November Thread..

Today is Sara's (our youngest) birthday.  She's going to a Halloween/birthday party tonight.  Brian and I took her to lunch the other day and the family will take her to dinner when I get home from this next trip.

It's beautiful weather here again.  It's suppose to be near 90 by Monday.  It was only in the 40's and 50's a few days ago. Looks like fairly nice weather in all the places I'll be next week.

Not much new here, just getting all the stuff done before leaving.  Hubby is taking me to the airport tomorrow.  His trip was postponed for a week so that's good.  At least then I will be home to pack for him so he doesn't forget anything...LOL

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!

A drizzly, foggy, day and night. It has been fairly warm, just looks cold.

I got some church files rearranged and old ones shredded.

Watched the "Bart - The Mall Cop" this a.m. while Jerry was in town and I was shredding.  Glad I didn't waste my money renting it or going to the movies to see it!  LOL!

We didn't have any trick or treaters.  I'm glad I took part in the trunk & treat at church Wednesday night.

Terry, Dot, and the those of you going to Mt. Juliet, have fun and safe travels.

Did get good news this evening on my great niece.  She seems to have made a turn for the better and my nephew was able to see his grandchildren (twins) for the first time.  My great niece has been in ICU since they were born Tuesday with a blood clot and other complications.  Thank you all for your prayers.

I've turned back the clock in my bedroom and the kitchen.  I'll catch the rest tomorrow.

Y'all have a good night.
