Hello, Friends. Doing fairly well but the weather here has been hot. The PT is making me sore but think think it will help in the long run. They also told me to use ice on my shoulder instead of heat because I have a lot of inflammation. It is a good thing I am a patient person- this has been going on for over 2 months.

BHR- So glad to hear you got a good report on your colonoscopy & I hope & pray your Hubby gets a good report on his liver tests.

Jeri- Yes, I agree, PT can work wonders & I'm doing it with a positive attitude & a smile.

Kathy- Your son surely appreciates your help- moving is a big job. I love the new video too- have watched it about 6 times today betwenn TV & the computer.

Elaine- Glad you got to spend that time with Teresa.

Sue- glad you were spared from the tornadoes. How long will you be in limbo as far as a home to live in?

Is everyone ready for summer? I think it has already arrived here.
Love to All.

Hi all,
Welcome to summer!  Official today!
Harriet, I waved at you when I was in Marietta today.  Stopped at the Cracker Barrel and saw Alan's rocker, actually got to touch it!  It's beautiful.  I would have bought it but my trunk is full of Jana's stuff.  Hopefully I will find one on my trip home when my trunk is emptied.  Glad your PT is helping.  It is hot in GA but I'm loving it.  Storms and thunder in Tifton right now.
BHR, glad your reports went well.  Always good to get those tests done.
Elaine, glad you got to spend time with Teresa.  Always a treat to spend time with family.  Really looking forward to seeing Jana tomorrow.
Kimberly, enjoy your time with family too.
Kathy, I bet your son appreciated your help.  Moving is so much work, that all help is welcome.
Last night we were in Nashville.  Enjoyed the music at Tootsie's Orchard bar and the walk on music row.  Had a fun time!  We are in southern GA tonight and will head into Florida tomorrow to Jana's.  Going to meet a friend at Daytona Beach for lunch and then Jana's later in the day.  The hard driving is behind us!  Yeah!  Now most of our travels will be between two to four hour stops until we do the final push at the end of July back to Minnesota.
Waiting for the thunder storm to pass so we can go out to dinner.
Take care all,  I'm waving at ya all as I pass through your state.
Hugs,
Sue

Sue:  If you pass South Carolina, wave to me.  It is supposed to be hot today, 96 deg.

I've been so excited about the CWS, so glad Clemson is still in the fight.

I'll be home for awhile, thank goodness.  I have so much to catch up on.  We will be off work for the week of the 4th and really don't have any plans.  Jerry has an infected tooth, so he just wants to get pass that for now.  I've been on the road so much in the last three weeks, I just want to enjoy "home" for a while.

On sad note, I had to take my beloved "Boots" to the vet last Wednesday.  He was 14 yrs. 9 mos. and was just continuing to decline.  I did not want him to suffer anymore.  For now, I'm just gonna be petless.  May get another pet later, but not anytime soon.

I spent Thursday through Sunday in Asheville, NC with friends.  What a delightful weekend.  Visited Biltmore House, Grove Park Inn, took a comedy tour of Asheville and ate at the Fiddling Pig Bar-b-que restaurant which has clogging and square dancing.

Kimberly:  Enjoy your visit with family.

Harriet:  Sorry you're having more problems.  Hope you are pain free soon.  My arthritis is acting up.  Think it's the heat or something.

Elaine: How is it in Canada?  Hot?  We need rain.  Sorry y'all can't see the new video.  I posted it on FB.  Love it.  I got myself the Working Man's Tee and Jerry just shakes his head!

Hi to everyone else.....Have so much to do.........

Hello dear Friends,

it's been a while i was on the board. Reason is that i was hospitalised from 06/16 till wednesday. The last few weeks i notice that i had heartrhytme failures during my bike rides. I am a heartpatient for almost 25 years and i knew it could happen. Thanks God i always ride with a polar computer and he warn me the rhytme failure. I went to the doctor and he send me to the hospital immediatly. After several tests they give my heart a "electro-shock" and the rhytme is bether than before now. Off course no bike rides or rebuildings the next days. My wife keep a strong eye on me! Haha.
I have a appointement for a check up on August 11. Then they decide if i need a defilibrator. (99% i do)

Off course i couldn't go to Willie Nelson's concert in Brussels. I give my ticket to my son and he said that it was a very good concert. Though he isn't a country fan.

We have very nice and sunny weather... good for Anita's Europe trip.
I'm also glad to read everything is fine with my AJ Friends. Enjoy summer and ... live dear Friends,
see you soon,

Jean

JeanB, so sorry to hear about your hospital stay.  I am glad that you made it to the doctor and hospital quickly.  You and your wife will be in my prayers.  You take extra care until your next appointment!

Jean.B,

So sorry you have been in the hospital for  heart rhythm failures. Good you went to the hospital & they could shock it back into rhythm. My brother in law has had this also, and is very athletic.. I hope you wont have to have  a
defilibrator but I have know people that has had this done..
Sorry you missed willie, but take care and we will be thinking of you & include you in prayer.
If they are waiting until August, perhaps that's a good sign it's not needed. a defilibrator, I mean.

Take care, Jerrie
Elaine it's Hot Hot Hot here also! heat index is 105, I'm staying inside w/this throat sore. Take care to all of you!

JeanB, sorry to hear about your health problems.  I'll keep you in my prayers and hope that you'll be out cycling soon!!

It's going to be hot & humid this weekend (with some storms mixed in).  I'll be staying inside for sure.  Tomorrow we go to a birthday party for a 1 year old.  She's such a cutie.

Jean/B:  I'm glad you keep a close eye on your condition.  Many people do not.  Sorry to hear you won't be able to cycle or work on the roofs for a few days.  Glad your son enjoyed the concert.  I hope he took a lot of pictures for you.  I saw Willie Nelson 48 years ago in a little bar in Ohio when he wore a suit and had short hair!  Wish I had taken a picture then.  LOL!  He is a talented song writer.  Don't care for his looks now!

My gd is in Italy.  From what I'm hearing from her she is having a great time.  Volleyball camp starts Monday.  She and the girls from Mt. Olive College will be giving the camp.  What an experience for her.

For anyone interested.  In the College World Series, Clemson played  South Carolina last night and lost.  Clemson was undefeated and it was an elimination game for Carolina.  So now both have lost one game.  They will play again tonight.  Several folks I know were on t.v. last night.  The Wingo boy's father, Billy played for Clemson and his son is a star South Carolina fan.  Strong rivalry between the two teams.

Someone please explain the World Cup to me.  Or rather the scoring in soccer.  Teams can tie and still be in the running, teams can score 5 pts and the game is called!  Just can't get into it.  Seems to me the rules don't make sense.  LOL!

We're having really hot weather.  105 deg heat index!  No rain for a couple weeks and I'm having to water my plants.  Don't even want to think what July & August will be like.

Enough from this part of the world.  Y'all have a good weekend.

Jean B.. I had open heart surgery about a year and a half ago..I had to have a pig valve put in it took awhile to get over but time has a way of healing...I have had to be shocked back into rhythm and it does help I sure hope you will be feeling better after it is over...I  also hope you don't have to have a defilibrator....Hope you are feeling better now.
