Terry, I'm so sorry about Shelia, prayers are coming your way.  Maybe if you wore a mask you could visit her, I'm sure it's difficult not to go see her. Let us know how she is doing.  I will call you when things settle down for you. God Bless.

Snow, can't believe it this time of year.  All we have is rain and more rain, but I'll take that any day to snow.

Sharon, I'm sure you have already left for your trip but have fun. That is a long trip to drive. But we have driven from KY to CA. It's fun to see other parts of the country.

Hope everyone is having a good week.

Terry, I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter, Sheila. She's in my prayers also. I'm sure her son, Taylor, must have been a bit scared. Prayers for strength for the whole family. . .you included. Take care of that cough and cold. I agree with Dot about wearing a mask. Let us know how Sheila is doing and let her know that she's in all our thoughts and prayers. Take care and HUGS.

Try to keep a positive outlook and know that your Friends of AJ Fans will be praying for your daughter and You.
So sorrry to hear this happened, to your daughter, so very Young.

AJ Fans- if you like Clay Walker( which I do)and you are going to Nashville, He says "In Nashville for CMA Music Festival? Stop by the Opry Originals Store (300 Broadway) between 11a & 1p. Signing... "Clay will be Signing there If you want to hear his Message and tell him if you like his Song, you can call this number & listen- clay walker--  1-713-491-6000

In the middle of planning my retirement - there are so many things to think about and do.   But, it will all be worth it in the end.  Only 7 more weeks!!!

Terry, so sorry to hear about your daughter & so young.  My prayers & thoughts are with her & her family and you & your family.   Please keep us informed as to her progress.

JeanB - congrats on the autographed Clay Walker CD!   Enjoy Willie - I've never seen him in person, he is someone I would like to see in person.

Harriet, thanks for the congrats on the Blackhawks.  I'm not a huge hockey fan, but you can't help be caught up on the excitement of it all.  I watched the whole game last night - it was really exciting.  Too bad, they couldn't have won it in front of the Chicago fans.  There is to be a parade and rally tomorrow in downtown Chicago.   Should be exciting!

The weather has been great here.  Just enough rain to keep everything green, but not too much.   Supposed to be hot this weekend, but only the two days of the weekend and then back to the 70's.  Pretty nice.

Just wanted to thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts for my daughter.  She came home from the hospital tonight.  They still don't know for sure what caused the heart attack but feel it was stress but will continue to do more testing in the coming weeks to rule out any medical conditions.  Thanks again my friends.  Hugs to all.

Hi, AJ Friends!

Terry, thanks for the update on Sheila. Happy to hear she's fine and back home. Continuing praying for her and your whole family. Hoping for good test results for her . You take care.

Harriet, glad you enjoyed the articles I posted on the BB Top 25 Artists of the past 25 years. I enjoyed reading them too and thought would share them with all of you here on the board. Here's another article you might get interested in reading (I always watch the Boston Pop 4th of July show but I'll be watching this one especially):
http://www.cmt.com/news/news-in-brief/1641283/toby-keith-will-perform-with-boston-pops-on-fourth-of-july.jhtml

Hello, Caz! Good to see you posting back here. Just come back whenever you can. We all do miss you here.

Jeri (and everyone who commented on the CMT Awards not being good this year), glad I held off on recording it on our DVR. I don't know about you all, but I'm outraged as to how CMT presented country music, over all, at that show. Kid Rock. . .opened the show? The SNL comedian. . .impersonating Reba? Oh...geeez! I don't think non-country music fans would remember that award show for what it is supposed to be but rather for what it is NOT supposed to be. How embarrasing and insulting that must have been for the country music artists that performed and presented awards there. By the way, I didn't watch the show. . .just read reviews about it from various entertainment news sites. They all pretty much lamented the same things said in the CMT Awards thread.

JeanB, congrats on your autographed Clay Walker album. I'm thinking on getting his latest one too as he has been one of my favorites back in the early 90's.

Kathy, you'll enjoy your retirement, I'm sure of it. I almost can feel your anxiousness. :-)

Take care, HUGS and great weekend to you all.

BHR- Thanks for the info on the Boston Pops July 4th show. I plan to watch.

Nice to read Toby Keith is doing this on the Boston Pops!  They might better move the delay up a few notches, just in case lol.j/k
Toby is one of few performances I enjoyed the night on the CMT awards..I forgot to mention him too!
If his moma had just washed his mouth out  a few, he would be great! lol He is still a good Singer! His concerts do well.
Thanks for posting about this. I will try and catch it, we watch this every year.Toby Fans bring children to his Concerts , I guess they know the language will be used, but being an Elder's daughter, it is was more noticed, but I do love his voice and Songs. Especially his visiting our Troops so much, I really appreciate this!
