Jeri, my condolences to you and your family.  Your  mother sounds like she was a wonderful woman.  May the heavy weight be lifted from your shoulders and mind knowing that she is at peace now with her maker.  Take this time to heal your self and your heart.  Your MEMORIES will live on forever.  I lost my father in 1995 and still miss him deeply.  I am also
bracing myself for my mothers death - she is not  doing well herself as of late.   GOD BLESS YOU FRIEND.

Hello to everyone - I don't post much but read the board quite often.

Harriet - glad to hear you are on the mend from your health issues.

 Prayers to all who need them - - - - -
and God bless AJ for the friendships he has brought together through his
                                              music and  fan club.

Jerrie, I am so saddened by the passing of your dear mother.   She was ill for so long and she is at
peace now.  I know you will miss her terribly......there is nobody like our mothers.  Prayers to you and your

AJtexasfan your son and Dil will enjoy their
trip to Calgary?Banff area. They not only get
to see the snow but will get to see how big
our mountains are.The snow stays on those
mountains all year.I hope they go tour the CNN
hotel. It is really something to see.Tell them to
dress warmly.
Harriet I sure hope you lose that cough soon.
Jeri my prayers go out to you and your family on
the loss of your mom.You never get over it.You just
learn to live with it as the time goes by.
Sharon glad you have a Cracker Barrel near you and
got to see Alan's selection of things.
It is cloudy and windy here this morning.Georgie
hates the wind.

Hi Elaine  I hope you are staying nice and warm. Georgie hates the wind like I do because it goes right through you and makes you even colder. I love it 75 to 80 degrees, but the snow covered mountains must look beautiful. So far ALAN is doing great in Canada. That's good news. No snow problems so far.  Take Care   nelle

Harriet I hope you are feeling better.  What seems to stop coughing in it tracks for me is SUCRETS, if you would like to try them.  They come in a tin that can be used for thumb tacks or paper clips. The main thing is that they work fast for me. Coughing seem to go through the whole body.  Please Take Care of yourself.   Hugs and more Hugs     nelle

I'm sorry I'm just now reading this thread.  I don't take the time or have the time to read everything on the web board every day.
Jerri, So sorry about your Mom. But just think of all the great memories you have of her and you  had her for many long years. I know that still doesn't make it any easier.  You have my sympathy. God Bless you during this time of grief.

I lost my mom in 1996, not a day goes by I don't think about her, we were very close.

Sharon, I don't remember you telling my about your niece, maybe you did and it didn't dawn on me at the time.
I hope she is at home with the babies now.  I'll bet they are cute little boys.

Hope everyone else who was/is sick is all well by now.  If I missed any more bad news please just forgive me.

Jeri,  Sorry to hear.......but I know your Mom is with God and that is great comfort.
Sorry for not posting sooner but I have been consumed with helping my daughter move.  Tired and lots of sore muscles.
I feel bad as I have not been able to post much as this has been a crazy two months.
Take care all
I hope to get back to reading regularly.

Evening everyone,

Harriet, hope your cough is better by now.  I haven't posted in a few days except to give my thoughts and prayers to Jeri.

Dot, it's kind of weird not having a trip to see Alan planned.  Sure hope we can get together next year.  Hope we get an advance notice of when Alan will be getting his star on Hollywood Blvd. so you can come.

Nelle, I'm with you, I don't like the cold, much prefer the warmer temps.

Elaine, yes, your Canadian Rockies are beautiful, I loved the drive from Calgary over to your place across the mountains.  I love the Rockies here too.  Guess being from Denver gives me a soft spot for them.

Louann, hope your mom is doing ok.  You have a lot to deal with right now.

Finally got my research/essay paper done and turned in, plus all the other homework.  I'll be happy when this semester is over.  Love my english teacher but the math professor is a real jerk.  I've reported him, as have many others. to the dean's office.  He doesn't want to help anyone and won't answer any questions.  Finally got unpacked and my laundry done from my last trip.
I just got the news tonight that I'm going to be a grandma (Nana-T) again.

Hope everyone has a great week.  Good thoughts and prayers to all that need them.

Hi Y'all!
Congratulations Terry on being a Nana again!  Which child?  I want all the info.....LOL!

We've had beautiful weather, but it's getting cool again.  Still very nice, 60 deg. for highs.  Haven't turned the furnace off, but it's not running much.  Lows at night in the 40's.  The leaves are falling off the trees fast!

Glad you got your paper done, Terry.  I do not envy you on doing your school work.  Better you than me.  LOL!

I'm getting ready to call about tickets for the touring company of Jersey Boys.  Has anyone seen it?  It will be playing in Charlotte in March & April.  About 4 of us ladies are going to make it a "girls" weekend.  I use the term "girls" loosely!  LOL!

Dot, my great niece is home and recuperating.  The twins are beautiful.  Can't wait to be able to go to FL and see them.  I posted their pictures on FB.

Jeri, still thinking of you.  My mom passed away in '96 and I miss her everyday.  We were close also.  At least until Alzeheimer's took her away 10 years before she actually died.

Well, I'm off to do some housework....Fun, fun, fun!

Hi to all AJ Fans,

Jerie, I continue to think of you.  It's hard to imagine life without mom.
Sharon, I have seen Jersey Boys and it's awesome.  Highly recommended!
Terry, congrats on being a Nana again to be.  My second is due in May and I can't wait for him or her.  I am having the best time with my little 27 month-er.  He's brought so much joy to my life.
School keeps me very busy.  Love my job!
Harriet, glad to hear you are feeling better but I won't be happy until you give us a perfect health report.
Elaine, we've had lots of wind here too.  Makes the day so much cooler.  Nelle and Elaine, I dislike the cold too!  Oh dear and winter is coming...  I'll be complaining.
Prayers to all who need them.  May God Bless you all.

Sharon  I am so happy to hear that your great niece is home recuperating with the twins. I was worried about her.

Terry I am happy to hear you are going to be a NANA again.  Have fun seeing the JERSEY BOYS.

Sue  I hope you are O.K. after helping with all that moving. I am happy to hear you are having fun with your 27 monther and are looking forward to MAY to be a GRANDMA again.

Elaine I know what you mean with your ears. I have gotten headaches, coughs, and pain in my chest from the cold for 63 years now.  The last 10 years my knees lock up. I just love it warm. I have to keep the heat on high enough just before this happens.    Keep warm everyone who needs it.   Prayers to everyone who needs them and  Take Care  nelle

Congratulations Terry on your news.  When is the little darling girl or boy due?  How many grandchildren do you already have?  This is GREAT news!  Also I heard the Jersey Boys are FANTASTIC!
