Hi Y'all,
The weatherman is calling for 99 deg. here today!  Whew!  Hate to see the electric bill.......thank goodness we have A/C.  I delivered Meals on wheels yesterday and just going from the car to the clients homes, I go soaking wet!

Hope everyone is doing okay.  Hope the south gets some rain.  The news said the only help is a hurricane or tropical depression and the heat is keeping those 'canes out in the Atlantic.  I know the hurricanes are bad, but we do need rain.

Y'all have a good Thursday.

I sure wish I could send you gals some of my
rain. We have had rain every day this week
with a few periods where the sun peeks out.
Not good for a town depending on tourist
coming to our three lakes.

Everyone take care during this heat wave we seem to have now.. It is in the high 90's but feels like 103.. Be sure to hydrate when doing exercise too, before starting. I keep the inside cold and stay in a lot when it's like this.

I want to see my Grands soon.. not sure to go now w/this heat..Traveling is a lot of stops there, to drink water..
and /or eat..
Take care all of you Dizzy be careful and stay cool. I don't care how much the electric bill is , my asthma I have to have it cool . You are right however, my daughter has an older system & hers is way over a hundred dollars, maybe two now.
Jean/B I saw the wreck at the Tour De France, so sorry..I hope you enjoy your trip!
Dizzy be careful out and all of you in the "Heat Wave."
Later, Jerrie

Happy Saturday Morning!

Heat is still with us, no rain.  We're not as bad as Texas thank goodness.  Jeri, don't know when you're going up to Nashville, but y'all be careful and enjoy your time with the grands.

My daughter and family from TN are coming next week.  She planned it the same time we're having pictures taken for our church directory and guess who is coordinating the event!  I'm so glad Karen is understanding about stuff.  She and my granddaughter may be able to help too.  Plus may get their picture taken also.

So sorry to hear about the tragedy in Norway.  Crazy world we live in.

That is terrible news about what happened in Norway.  It makes you think we aren't safe anywhere.  Terrorists are everywhere.  The weather in Canada is very hot too.  We have had temperatures over 100 the last couple of days.  That is very unusual around here.  We also have the humidity.  I am okay with the heat.  It is uncomfortable, but I prefer it better than rain & snow.  Although we need the rain badly.  The grass is brown.  We do water the grass to help it a little bit, but it doesn't look as green as it usually does.  Well I better go, we have to go and babysit my grandson today and it is a two hour drive so we have to leave shortly.
Hope is well with all the AJ fans.  I am trying to get on here more often, but it has been a busy summer so far.
Take care.   Anita

You all take care in the heat.
Anita sorry your heat is so bad here in the
west we have not had any heat. The temp
has been in the 70 until yesterday it went into
the 80. Has not been a good year for the tourists
coming to the three lakes for water activities.
Todd and deb were going to come home  but
are waiting for hotte weather. They like to water ski
when they come.

Hello, AJ Friends. I am feeling so much better, really back to normal & have gotten back to exercising, shopping & housecleaning. Busy on the boards too with both my favorite artists having new singles & videos & new albums coming out.

It has been so long since I posted here that I can't possibly address everybody but just to say to all I hope you are managing with this terrible heat which is now normal for this time of year for us. I know a lot of you are excited about Alan's new music as I am too.

Hope all who are going to concerts are having a Good Time- doesn't look like we're having an Atlanta date this year.

Take care & Love to All.

I've been staying in AC mostly.  We did get some storms this last week & there was more flooding in the area.  The humidity is what gets to me.

Harriet, so glad to hear you are feeling better - it's been a long road.

Hope everyone else is doing good.  Looking forward to AJ's new album & the Hank Williams project as well.
Watch out for those bugs in your margaritas!  LOL
