Wanted to pop in and wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS.  Hope everyone has a safe and blessed time with family and friends.

I am also asking for prayers from all my AJ buddies for my sister, Sandy.  She is just 2 years older than me and was admitted to the hospital last night with the start of kidney failure.  She is down to less than 100 pounds and her son had to carry her to the car from her home.  They moved her to ICU today when they couldn't wake her up.

Kathy, you're getting snow. But we have a forcast for rain & sleet tonight & snow tomorrw & Sunday. A White Christmas in Dixie? I can't believe it.

Folks, I have graduated from sleeping in the recliner to sleeping in the bed on 2 pillows with my arm on 2 pillows. Hooray!

Terry, sorry about your sister, such bad news anytime but especially at Christmas.   May God watch over her, will be thinking about you and your family.

I haven't been on for two or three days, had to take my computer in to have it repaired.

It is snowing big flakes in KY tonight, I didn't want this yet, as family is traveling. But I have to admit it is pretty.

Everone have a Merry Christmas and be safe.

Terry, I'm saddened to hear about your sister Sandy's health situation. I just took at the picture you sent me of you and your 2 sisters in May of 2008. Is Sandy one of them? She wil be in my thoughts and prayers, along with the rest of your family.

Nelle, so sorry to hear too of your relapse. I had been thinking about you and wondering how you were doing. Thank you for posting back and letting us all know that you had the relapse. Prayers goes up for you too.

Harriet, happy to hear of your good news. I'm sure that it was a great relief that you're able to sleep in bed now. We heard about the snow this weekend before we left last Wednesday. Hope there won't be any or much accumulation on the ground when we head back home on Sunday. I'm more worried about it than my hubby. . .and he's the one driving. :-)

Anita, congras on your new and first grandchild. What a great Christmas present for you and your family!

To all of you who sent me a Christmas card, thank you all so much. They're all beautiful and the extras added were appreciated. We're spending the Christmas weekend with my hubby's family at the other end of GA.

A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF YOU AJ FANS AND FRIENDS! Enjoy and savor the love the Yuletide Season brings. Stay and keep safe and warm wherever you all are and or if you're traveling.

Take care and HUGS,

BHR- Sunday could be a problem if we get snow on Saturday. Sunday will be a very cold day & some of that precip could turn into black ice on bridges & overpasses. Hope your hubby is aware of this.

I loved the story of how you & your hubby met & got married. Do you have a picture of yourself in that red outfit you wore the night you two met? If so e-mail it to me. I would love to see it & bet you looked smashing.

It's good to see everyone had a nice Christmas.  Our son and his fiance came down from northern CA, and our daughter and grandson came from AZ so it was really nice.  Our son and his fiance announced a wedding date (FINALLY as they have been together for 11 years, and engaged for 5) in June of 2011.

Thank you all for your prayers for my sister, they are working.  She had dialysis on Christmas Eve and had to have 2 pints of blood.  She has pretty much "out of it" until yesterday.  The blood transfusion helped with her being so cold.  She was much better last night and was able to watch part of the Laker's game, which she loves.

BHR, if the picture I sent you is the one with me on the right and it we are outside, then yes, Sandy is the one in the middle, in a red and white striped shirt.

I saw on the news were Atlanta had the first white Christmas in over 100 years.  That's the storm we had that dropped over 8 inches of rain in a 24 hour period last week, the last of back to back storms over 6 days.

Hope everyone has a safe week, hugs to all my AJ buddies.

Terry, so glad to hear your sister is doing better. Yes, we did have a white Christmas & the snow is still on the ground. We hear there are slick spots on the roads but the Freeway looks clear & cars are moving.

JeanB- Hope you & your family had a wonderful Christmas & best wishes for the New Year.

BHR- Hope you're having a safe trip home today.

Jeri- Hope you're staying warm & staying home- I hear Jacksonville is very cold.

Gwen- You are sweet to say that- I love all of you & you are my friends.

Dot- glad your computer is fixed now.

Hello to Piper & Anita.
