Hello there Harriett,  so sorry for your troubles but I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and when you are all recovered I think Alan should invite you to a front row seat concert and a meet and greet so you hang in there girl!

Harriet, I'll be so glad for you to get this surgery behind you, so you can start your rehab and get out soon..

Just wish they had found out earlier.. Hugs and prayers are always here from AJ Fans.
HUgs, Jerrie
PS, I have talked so much about you to my Husband, he thought I meant a relative named Harriet.. ha! She was in the car with my sister on their trip from Maine, and she called me in her car w/Harriet & her husband and hubby said "I thought you said Harriet was ill"  ha!

So sorry to hear of your injury and the need for surgery and the long rehab process.  When you get to the rehab stage and you are being asked to do what your poor arm does not want it to try to imagine a winning lottery ticket that the therapist wants you to reach for, could'nt hurt, lol!  We will be awaiting word of your progress.  Is there somewhere we can send a card?

Yes, please message us an address for cards.

Harriet, it is good to know you have that date now.
But hope you can be patient afterwards with the therapy.
I know several people who have had this done and some
of them slept (stayed) in their recliners instead of sleeping
in their beds, too. It was the only place they found comfort.
So, get that remote handy, too.  Prayers and Hugs for you.

Thank you, Marilyn & again thanks to all the rest of you. I have been sleeping hours in my recliner since susutaining this injury over 4 months ago. I'm thinking the doctor may have taken the conservative route wiyh Physical Therapy & holding off on the MRI because of Medicare & their requirememts.

Harriet, that is exactly what they tried with our Mother and if we had not been there to make sure they followed up on X-rays etc, she would have been gone much earlier...

Harriet.. that is why I went in emergency, they will do an MRI right away that way..I feel and they put me in the hospital & did all my tests..MRI , Brain -scan.. I cut my head open remember that..after Christmas..So next time you get hurt or fall go to emergency, they will do better..I took my husband to emergency too and they tested him for four days but at least, they found he had inflamation of the pancreas bad.,.it could have been his heart by the symptons. so I took no chances. Today we have to be in control of our health almost. we are w/all specialists now for his kidneys, diabetes, heart..pancreas or anything he needs..

This can be life threatning.. My fall could have broken my hip, it still hurts, but they made a scan and no bones were broken, thank God. Both knees had huge fluid balls on them, looked awful, it was a hard fall.
I take no chances. Don't be afraid to speak out and say I want an ekg run etc...or whatever you need.. They ran an ekg on my husband before the colonospy(sp?) recently as his heart had not sounded right.,. But when you are on Medicare, they try to get out of doing tests etc.I know they do get ripped off , but when it is needed, is a different story..
I will be so glad when you feel better and you are still in our Prayers and thoughts..I feel so bad for you, you have really suffered.. I'll be so glad when you are on the road to recovery and get out and enjoy..Take care..always, You have suffered long enough with that.. Bless you..Jerrie

Harriet,

Will be thinking of you, we seem to be going through health Issues, but it's my husband. I never forget and pray for you
along with hoping my husbands will be over soon..His pancreas surgery comes up soon, so say a prayer for him. we saw his Dr today & he told him not to put it off. He gave him a 50-50 chance with cancer...so I ask for all your prayers too.I will think positive until we know..we want to see our G-Babies first but not sure we can drive that far. I might drive for him..Hugs and prayers. Keep the Faith, that's what we try to do..Jerrie
BHR, I hope your dear husband is doing well now also. prayers for him too.

Jeri, prayers going up for your Hubby right away & I hope you get a good report. You've been through so much.

As far as emergency rooms go I will just say I have had some bad experiences with them involving long waits when I needed immediate attention.
