Hi to all,
It's incredibly odd sitting on my deck watching the boats go and up and down the river for the last time here.  Also the new family moved their things into the garage tonight.  Out with the old and in with the new!  Ha.....Tomorrow is going to be a very strange day.  Will be hoteling it until August.  We have some fun things planned once the school year is over mid June.
Hope all is well.  It's starting to get dark and I am very tired from all the work of moving.
Just had to come and read about the AJ concerts.

Oh Sue, Not to be sad... Living in a Hotel is fun, I have traveled with my husband's Job before and it was fun. I know it's  not easy letting go of the old memories however.
we made friends there and ate together, and plus visited family. That was my sister's life with her husband's job until they built a house here in FL. They downsized by selling their GA home, bought a condo on the beach and sold it lucky for them, before the market dropped. Now they may sell this house and  settle into a retirement place..not sure.

That sounds like a lovely scene of the boats going by, but you will make new memories with your new arrival and family. I know you are so tired, I remember those days of moving but rest up and sounds like you have fun things planned after school is out, so you have that to look forward to. Think of you always.
Take care and God Bless, Jerrie-FL-MS
PS-Maybe you will win that AJ Meet and Greet yet!!!

Hello to All. Just giving you a report on my trip to the doctor. Overall he's pleased with my progress & gave me some P.T. exercises to do at home. He will see me in 6 weeks. He still wonders if I have a rotator cuff tear but wants to give it some more time.

Sue- It is hard to leave a place- guess you grew attached to it.

Elaine- So sorry about your migraine headache. My Mom used to have them.

Jeri- We really don't like to move; we have been in the same house for30 years.

Hello to All the rest of you.

Elaine,

Don't they say if you start to get the eye effects, to drink several cups of coffee right away & it keeps the migraines from getting worse..I drink only 1 cup coffee per day , so I don't try that one ha! It might work for some.. Feel better soon!

Dizzy be sure to listen to wgne 999gatorcountry tonight , they are playing "Hard Hat And A Hammer"

They will play it I think, hopefully. I am so glad as I love that Station and the wonderful DJ's! I always listen while I do housework and my husband listens when he drives home from work to Craiger.
I'm goiing to listen. I always do, while doing work , if outside I use my earplugs ha!Air Personality Craiger is addictive w/the Voice! ha!

My electric was off today a brief while. Hubby wants to get an auto Generator for the house but I'm
afraid he might  electrocute himself accidently..ha! would be great during hurricane season.
Just wanted to ALERT Dizzy! I know you said you had been trying to get it played. several have I know.
Harriet, feel better soon! Sue enjoy your vacation of rest..You will need it after packing.. time to cook , later,,,,
Take care Everone, Jerrie-MS-FL

Oh Harriet, as I was signing off , your post came up. I wish he had been more thorough, if this doesn't work, go to emergency..That is how I got sent to Mayo..Maybe it will for you, get better soon hon! So sorry you fell and hurt yourself.
WOW THAT PHOTO!!!!!!!!!! nice!!!  <*>,, <*>  LQQK Artsy huh lol THANKS FOR THE PHOTO!!!
Harriet, I know about attachments, I have had my hubby longer than Sue has been married lol. Also our house is also 30 years old..I'm no spring chicken,.ha! My children both left for college here and married from here, even started school in grade school here. My hubby was gone some in the service..I don't mind living in a small house but I do not like Florida that well, for my Asthma.. would love to move but would hate to be away from my grand teens and daughter, they are precious to us.. My son and family live near Nashville..miss them! later all got to be wifey now & cook ha!

very often which is good.I did when my kids
were small.
Have a breeze this morning and that white fluff
from popular trees is flying around. Not good for my
allergies. My patio is covered in it.Need to go vacuum
it.

Hello Friends,
we went to the Belgian coast last week and had a verry good time enjoying the sun and the sea and walking. It was Whitsun weekend. Do you celebrate Whitsun over there?
Yesterday i went to the annual technical check up with my car and he's oke for another year. Also i went to the dentist for check up and everything isn't oke ! lol. ... i have to go to the hospital for remove two teeth. They booth grow out and are painfull when contact with cold water and something. My dentist is female and i asked her why she taken't off my teeth, she answer me that she don't like that job ! Maybe she's afraid of me ? lol.

Harriet, good to read your doing better.
Elaine, sorry about your headache and allergie.
BHR, great picture !
Jerrie, Sue, Kathy, Sharon, everybody ... have a Good Time.

Hi Y'all!
Memorial Day Weekend, beginning of summer!  Love it!  Nothing planned really, but they may be good.

Okay, Jean/B, what is Whitsun?  We don't celebrate it here.
Glad you are all checked out and well.  I had a dentist appointment this week also.  Had some fillings put on my lower teeth to cover where the gums have pulled away.  Teeth look better.

Hope you're feeling better Elaine.  Our pollen is just about gone.  We had the yellow film all over about a month ago.

Harriet, good to hear you're better.  How will the dr. know if you have a rotator cuff tear?  That sounds serious.

Sue enjoy your new surroundings.

Better get busy, I've been on & off the computer all morning.

We are having absolutely the most beautiful weather.   Had to run the AC earlier in the week because of the heat & humidity, but today couldn't be more gorgeous.  The rest of the weekend is supposed to be the same.   Lovin' it.

Elaine, sorry about your migraine.  I get the eye effect migraine some too.  Mostly when I'm stressed from work.   Only two more months to worry about that though.

JeanB, glad you had a nice vacation, never heard of Whitsun - please explain.    I don't think dentists do much of anything anymore except cleanings & fillings.  Every time I have trouble, I usually end up having to go to an endontist or some other specialist.  That's the key any more - everyone's a specialist.

Harriet, glad you are doing better with your shoulder.  It takes time for everything to heal and if you are impatient, like me, you want to be better now!   But let it heal right so there are no future problems.

Sue, hope the move goes smoothly.  It's hard to leave someplace you have been awhile, but you have a new adventure to look forward to.

I'm taking a vacation day today so I'll have a nice four day weekend.   This should get me through the next two months!

Jean we don't have Whitsun day here.
Glad your check ups went well.
Sharon still have a little bit of allergies.
The pollen is nearly  over with .All the
rain we have had has been washing it away.
Kathy never could figure out what caused my
migraines. They were always so far apart.I
do know I have to wear sunglasses when it is
bright out.
Kathy Sharon Harriet Sue enjoy your long
weekend.

Hello, AJ Friends. Doing pretty well here- had a bad day yesterday but much better today. I can see Hard Hat & a Hammer making progress on Mediabase but they moved the Mediabase headquarters from LA to Texas so it's been down for a couple of days.

Sharon- They will not know if there is a rotator cuff tear until they do an MRI. I kind of wish he would go ahead & do it but he wants to wait 6 more weeks.

JeanB- In this country there are many different Christian denominations. The ones that follow the Church Calendar, including Whitsun, are the Roman Catholic, the Eastern Orthodox, The Episcopalian- which I am a member of- & possibly the Lutheran. I think all the other denominations do not use th Church Calendar.

Kathy- It really is hard to wait for this healing to take place. This has been going on since April 10th.

Jeri- I'm no Spring Chicken either & this problem with balance has almost got me afraid to go anywhere by myself. This morning I was just making  up the bed & almost fell.

Elaine- glad your migraines are infrequent. My Mom's migraines lessened as she got older & finally went away.

Happy Memorial Day to All & we will remember all those who served our country.

HARRIET my favorite local station played it for me twice now... I hope it keeps up.

Harriet,

I hope you feel better hon, when I told my husband about your possibility of a rotator cuff tear, He said since my bil had that, YOU would be in terrible pain still now.. Sorry you are still dizzy, might better go back or you might fall and do more
damage.. Harriet that is why I was in mayo.. Dizzy and could not walk . They did some kind of balance thing on me and I have not had vertigo since.. cost us a bit extra but if you go in emergency and say you can't walk for dizziness , they might run an mri & find out..I took dramamine chewables until hubby could drive me to the hospital.. they work for emergency.. can get them in any drugstore. They are used for air sickness usually..
Elaine my mother had migraines bad, they do run in families. I had them some but not bad . I had the eye warnings and usually took something for them. Mom took shots , hers were so bad..
Harriet be careful and do not fall again. You don't want to spilt your head open like I did . I stayed in the hospital 4 days..
this was after Mom died too. Thank God I survived all this and more, but God carried me... during my husband's illiness for sure. He is better and I feel better , so things are looking better..My son hasn't got much help from Fema and others  did.
I will take that one day at a time & not worry. People have sent us so many Graduation cards ,we may not be able to ever retire now. LOL... They seem to come all in the same year, & some None at all. So proud for all of them , however..

Yes! Harriet, Thanks for serving to ALL veterans and those who serve today, men and women!
Salute~ GOD'S BLESSINGS TO ALL OUR MILITARY AND THANK YOU FOR SERVING!

I WILL HAVE TO SAY THANKS TO MY HUSBAND< HE WAS IN SIAGON , During the draft!
He had a Birthday yesterday too. he is a wonderful Husband and I made him a cake with less sugar and it was wonderful! My teens and our daughter came over to eat & bring gifts..He doesn't look his age at all, he is so Wonderful!( today only ha.) I Think I will keep Him !!

Take care EVERYONE and ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!
 Blessings to you all, Jerrie-FL

Hi Friends,
Your right Harriet. Whitsun, also know as Pentecost is a part of the Christian calender. It is the holiday of "The Holly Ghost", the 7th. Sunday after Easter and commemorates the descent of the Holly Spirit upon the disciples of Christ.

I went to the endonist this morning. He took away not two but three teeth !!! In 20 minutes and complete painless ... still.
We spend Sunday afternoon at the movie with "Robin Hood". Not bad but a little dark filmed.

Enjoy the week everybody.

You have had a long haul with the pain.
