Happy October everyone.  I spent all last week helping a friend look for a mobile home.  Oh my good ones and BAD ones.  That is sooo sweet Jerri.  Thanks Elaine for starting the thread!

Happy October Y'all!
Thanks for starting the October thread Elaine.
We had 41 deg. this a.m. and high is supposed to be mid 70's.  Just turned my A/C off last week and want a few weeks of neither A/C or heat.
The big auction will be next Saturday and we're hoping for nice weather.  The website is www.jkauctions.com.  Check out upcoming events, the company is Unlimited Construction of Union, Inc.  The following week is some property.  I'm trying to persuade Jerry into moving to a smaller place, but we will wait a few months on that.  An accumulation of 30 years in business.  Jerry is gonna continue working but on a much smaller scale.
Our Clemson Tigers football team defeated Virginia Tech Saturday and have moved into the top 10 nationally!
Hope each of you has a great first week in October.

Jeri George and I married young and were
glad we did start our family so early. It was
great being able to still be active with our
grandkids.
Sharon it is going to be a little sad for you to
see thirty years being sold off. I will be thinking
of you that day.
It is raining this morning. Wish we could send
it to places that really need it.

I made the mistake of checking email and doing the crossword puzzle first thing and here I sit, still.  Oh well, thank goodness I can do it!

Thanks Elaine.  We'll be fine, but I do appreciate your thoughts.  It is something we intended to do even before Jimmy passed away, but he was as much a hoarder as Jerry!  The weather is supposed to be nice and I just hope people will buy and pay a good price.  Since it isn't absolute, I know Jerry will not give it away!  We'll just have to see how it goes.

I went to watch my grandson play football last night and they won.  Always good for the team you're rooting for to win!  These are 10 to 14 yr. olds.

Jeri, congrats on your anniversary month.

Posted one pic on FB of some of us in Macon.  I tried to post the others, but fb was not cooperating.  I'll get them up.  We sure had a good time in GA!!!!

No news can be good news as they say. I am very grateful that Miami did not experience a hurricane this year.  Since the disaster in Japan in March, it has been one horrific event after another of mother natures forces, I was concerned this year about strong hurricanes, thank you Lord!

Looking forward to a break in the heat and humidity. Jeri, you are way up north in Jax, I believe.  Dem cold fronts need (excuse me) a blast of Viagra to make it this far south so early in the year!  LOL!

Trying to make plans to attend the Tampa concert of Martina McBride in Nov.   Still holding my breath for AJ to come anywhere in Fla., the further south he comes, the more willing I am to crawl there if I have to.  LOL!    Maybe if he tours somewhere in the middle of the state, several of us can meet up for this.   Champagne taste/beer budget, I need to form my own support group.  LOL!

Take care everyone, muah!

Happy October everyone!  We are having such beautiful weather - I wish I could bottle it and bring it out this winter when the snow is flying.  It has been in the 70's & sunny all week and will continue into the weekend.  Loving it!
Can't believe we are into October already - the older I get the faster the time flies!
I've been busy packing up my condo so I can have new carpeting put down.  Finally got an install date for next Friday, but had to take the labor when I could get it last weekend.  Everything is in the garage except the computer, TVs & the big furniture.   What a mess!   But it will be worth it to have new carpeting - my old one has seen better days!

Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the congrats everyone, on our upcoming Anniversary! Not sure where we will go yet. Still have family coming by soon. Jax has a noreaster , so that means bands of rain and flash flooding near beach areas. Lucky we live inland &
only get the bands of rain that allow drainage, Thank God! I prayed away the hurricanes , but they can still come up to November, so I will keep it up!
Dizzy, I hope you are ok there. Not a great time to drive anywhere.
Love the rain, but bad for asthma.God bless to All of you, Jerrie

Sorry to say no AJ sightings in Jupiter this past weekend.  Did go by the Square Grouper for a "HURRICANE"  and some wings.  Sure was windy in Jupiter, so if AJ was their I'm sure he wasn't out of the boat anywhere.  Went by his house and so signs of him there either., (unless he watching me on the security camera.) LOL .   Rained all the way home - so not a
good end to the trip.  Have a great week everyone.  Guess it's time to get back to the Real World.
