 I did also. It is always Special for us. One of My best surprises later, was my Sister and Husband stopped by here last night,spent the night. after she had her cancer treatment. Tests showed ,it had come back but she looked good & we had a great time!Say prayers for my only sister.

The Pollen is reeking havoc on my allergies too , Plus I think you have asthma-BHR, so do I. It's getting warmer here this week, not good for me.
I hope the old Gang will come back & keep Alan's Site up & then we can see how they have gone to Concerts of Alan's & they write about them.frankly I miss them..Thanks BHR, you are so kind. Jerrie

BHR, Like you & other AJ Fans , I would love for Alan to get this. When one thinks of all the Singers he has influenced, introduced and that admire his Talent, Alan Jackson really deserves it.. He has taken Country Music World Wide. I can't name all Alan Jackson has done for Country Music..and Humanity. "The "Blue Note Fund"for CR Cancer.. Thanks Alan!
Alan has given so much, he performed at the "ALL For The Hall" They raised Great Sums of money.Great Concert!.
Alan Won The prestigious Award, "The Jim Reeves Award" and many others. for his Songwriting also etc..
Let's hope Alan Jackson is on this LIST,, Let's hope it represents Talent and Great Country Music Worldwide.

Voting .. Alan didn't seem to have as many votes, as we ALL voted..

I also am on fb and have Roger Bob as a friend there.  One other fan ran into him last wkend on 2nd Ave and they had their pic made together and I'm guessing he approved her sharing it as he LIKEd it. He looks great! Sure will miss him and glad that I finally met him here in IL in Nov. of '12. He and Tom and Mark were always so good to AJ's (and their) fans!

So glad you met him before he is gone..Meeting Alan was the Best Day of my Life... well maybe next to being
confirmed..lol. I was in Heaven for a Moment..I also met monty thanks to Terry. he is super nice.

I , like many others, have Roger Bob Wills on my friend list on Facebook and sadly it is true , he said he is no longer with Alan . I would never ask why, I just wish him well whatever he does and wherever he goes. It will seem strange to NOT see him standing there backing up Alan.

dee , doesn't it usually say on Alan's website if there is an opening act, even in a casino such as Tunica.So look under the tour site above..
Music 44 be careful in Memphis, some areas are not too safe..but that goes for anywhere..I lived there once.

I'm so sorry about your  broken wrist..I had wondered where you were so many times..I hope it heals fast.

Pollen is affecting even those who have never had allergy before, it's terrible here. I had to use treadmill instead of walking for exercise..I wont get to see Alan either, I'm so sad over it..Unless he were to be in
Nashville when/if we visit our son. I'm still doing exercise & a way to go yet to walk much..

Perhaps he is in another band also, like Mark was. I hope, I hope ...I sure hope he is still there as a StrayHorn..Yes isn't his name "Bob Wills? This has been a bad time for those who never had allergy too. I'm astmatic , so my exercise has had to be indoors recently..BHR sorry for your family's  health problems.. So glad you are ok after the storms in GA.
My sister called & they made it fine to GA! only a bit of rain along the way.

AlanFan, I know how you feel.. I miss Alan getting  radio airplay and all the others that have great voices. Alan not only sings Great, but writes his Songs. He puts his heart in his work and he sells Music
and performs everywhere. He has Fans from all over now. It probably bothers us AJ Fans more than him , I just love hearing his Voice and he has a great stage presence too. No award show is complete without Alan Jackson.At least he could be asked to give a friend his/her Award..but he's usually on Tour anyway..
Alan is my favorite voice at Concerts.. In fact I only go to his Mostly and a few shows at the Ryman & Opry.
I loved seeing Alan Introduce his "Precious Memories", we  were in Nashville for that and it was televised. we were there for the "All For The Hall" also and "George Jones Birthday" earlier which was wonderful! Alan made George proud I'm sure , singing his Song. So Many Singers love Alan, I'm sure many opened for him. I saw LittleBigTown with Alan once..also Zac Brown Band. several Singers own their own record companys, like Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band,etc..one day maybe they will wake up and give Alan his time in the spotlight again..He's due for some airplay & TV appearances. I miss him. NBC hasn't had him on in a while, I have a photo of him there last & the older man who comes to NBC to see his favorite Singers, was there. he always is for Alan Jackson.. I haven't seen him there since..The Awards show would have been so classy and
much better had Alan Jackson been there..boohoo! let's keep hoping..Jeri
