Just went to cast my VOTE.

I can't believe how fast the years are going by, seems they get shorter every year. Think it could be an age thing....

Brenda and the others who are going to the Cincy concert, let me know by sending me a message if/where you want to meet before the concert.  If no one wants to meet that's  okay too, maybe we will meet each other at the concert.
I'm staying in KY about 12 miles from the Arena.  It will be closer for me when I head home on Sunday.

Jerri, glad you had fun at the homecoming.  We had one in Sept at our church, but I wasn't rasied in this county so it's not the same.

I can't believe November is here.  Just got over Halloween.  My husband wanted to really get into  the spirit of Halloween this year.  So we decorated the outside of our house and made it scary.  The kids all loved it.  We both dressed up for Halloween this year.  I will have to post the pictures when I get home tonight of the two of us.  We had fun and we had 209 kids.  Now I am getting ready for a baby shower I am having this weekend.  Then it will be Christmas decorating time.  Boy it is a busy time of year.  I better get back to work and talk to you all soon.

I said in an early post that I would show you pictures of my husband and me at Halloween.  If you want to see pictures of my husband and me dressed up for Halloween, just check the link above.

AM - cute pictures!!

Time definitely passes faster as I age.   Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away!  How did that happen?

Voted this morning before heading to the office for the day.   Only a 15 minute wait.

Dot,

I'm not sure where to meet unless it would be at the Will Call or somewhere. I have never been there before and am not familiar with Cincy....I am not staying overnight either. Any ideas, let me know. I am up for it.

Thanks!

Thank you, Elaine, for starting this month's thread. I don't think I had posted here since you started it. It has been busy, busy with us at home the last few weeks with our oldest son being back home with us, among other things. I try to post here and there in the forum whenever time permits. Hope everyone's doing well. We had a little over 2 dozens trick or treaters that came knocking at our door. . .and hubby didn't want to buy any candies. :-) Temperature has dropped where we're at and the weathermen are saying that we'll be in the low 50s tomorrow to drop to the 20s by Saturday. BRRRRRRR!!!!!!! Time to get the warmer coats/jackets out.

Jo, welcome to our monthly thread and the forum. I'll be interested to see the recipe for one of your traditional holiday deserts in Australia.  You may post it here on this thread or you can start a new thread in this section of the forum, OFF TOPIC. You can use "Chritsmas Traditions" on the subjectline/title of the new thread and invite everyone else to share their own holiday tradition. . .recipes, crafts, stories about their family's or countries holiday traditions, etc. I think it will fun to read and learn various holiday traditions that one may even try with ones own family. Just a thought.

Harriet, hope you're continuing to recover well. You're always in my thoughts and prayers.

Jeri, it's good to see you posting again. You've been missed. Glad to hear you had a nice vacation in MS. Sorry to hear about your asthma. Hope you feel better soon. Still praying for you and your husband.

Anita, thanks for sharing the photos. You and your husband looked great in your costumes. I have to agree with Sharon's sentiment.

Kathy, I feel the same way too. Yeah, where did the time go? It went too fast, that's for sure.

All of you going to see Alan in Cincy, travel safe and have loads of fun!

Hello Sharon, JeanB, Jean-Az, and everyone else I had amiss.

Have a wonderful weekend and take care all. HUGS!

Thanks all for your comments on my costume.  We did have alot of fun.  It is very cold here in  southern Ontario, Canada today.  We have 2 degrees Celcius.  I am not looking forward to winter.

I hope everyone is doing fine.  Alot of us are busy at this time of year.  I have today off and will be busy preparing all the food for the baby shower I am holding tomorrow for my stepson's girlfriend.  There are 24 people coming.  Then I can start Christmas shopping and decorating in the next couple of weeks. Another favorite time of year for me.

Well I better go and get things done.  We will talk to you all soon.

Cheers, Anita

Brenda, congrats for the meet and great. Hope you share the picture with us.

Jo, welcome to the board. I'm Jean from Belgium.

Jerrie, Dot, Kathy, Gwen, Sharon, BHR  ... have a nice weekend.

Take care everybody,

Jean
