JeanB, I hope your knee will get better so you can go biking again.  The weather this weekend in Ontario, Canada is going to be beautiful, just like in Belgium.  So far, it is true.  Yesterday, was such a beautiful, warm day and today is starting out that way.  With all the leaves changing color and the sun shining, Fall is a beautiful season.

Happy Thanksgiving to all Canadians.

for a while. rest up and feel  better soon! All of you who have needs and /or Prayers, sending them up for you all.

My dear Sister called and two dear dear friends of hers  One from GA that had just flown down for a visit, One had cancer, the other got ill suddenly and  both passed away today.Sue in MN, he was from MN and a pilot based there, but lived in GA, so young ,only 60.
They were my Sisters friends but they came to my daughters wedding and I knew them also. One lived in Fayetteville, GA and the other in Memphis, her hubby was a Dr. She was only 53 and looked  younger. At least my Sister got to spend time with them before this, but she is so upset..I feel so bad as I had known the Drs wife for years too. Her daughter sang at our Moms funeral a year ago come November , she is a soprano & did wonderful. Oh I feel so bad for the Families of these who passed.,.I am sadden by all this..Just great , great, great people we love.

Just enjoy each day and we never know when that day will come, any of us.With God in my Life, I do feel much more Peace. Take care everyone and I hope Harriet is better today, Praying for her.
God Bless, Jerrie-MS

PS- Sorry to put my grief on you AJ Fans, but there is a closeness we all share.

Jerrie, I am so sorry to hear about your sisters friends.  It is always a sadness when people close to you pass away.  Today is nine years when my mom passed away and she still is dear to my heart. This weekend is Thanksgiving in Canada.  It is very hard to celebrate it now, but I know she would want us to carry on in our lives and be blessed with what we have in our lives.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian friends!
The weather has been so great this past week and still this week also.  The colors are so beautiful!

Jeri - sorry to hear of the passing of your friends.

JeanB - I'm sure that shot will help, but best to curtail the riding for awhile.

JeanAZ - so sorry your beloved Twins were swept by the Yankees.  I know the feeling, since it seems to happen to the Cubs all the time!  There's always next year!

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends.

Sorry about your knee Jean/B.  Hope it gets better soon.

Jerri, sorry to hear of the passing of your sister's friends.

Went to Due West, SC to see my granddaughter's college team play Erskine.  Beautiful day.  We surprised her, she wasn't expecting us and I think she was thrilled.  My son, DIL, grandson and I.  Hubby didn't make it.  He missed out!

Y'all have a great evening, going to watch Grant play football.

things, so I understand. I have to slack off soon and spend more time with my husband but I will remember and pray for all.

Hello, Everyone,

I have just posted an update on Harriet in the "Prayers. . . ." thread. I received it from Harriet's husband just moments ago. Harriet had another set back. Please go there and read the message and continue your prayers for Harriet. Thanks.

Jeri, so sorry to hear about your friends' passing. My condolences to their families and friends. Thanks for your continued prayers for me and my husband. You and your husband are in my thoughts and prayers continuously also.

Just a bit of news from our household. Our oldest son is now officially out of the US Navy. He was given an honorable discharge couple of weeks ago after not being able to advance in rank and has decide to move here in GA to be closer to us. He's currently traveling coast to coast originating from WA State and is expecting to arrive here on the 20th of this month. He's visiting friends and relatives along the way. This is the first long drive for him and I'm just a bit worried. He's doing fine, though, thus far. He's in Denver Colorado right now. My husband is also on a travel. . .to Blairsville, GA. . .on the first of the two series of clinical conferences he has to attend. He'll be back either Friday night or Saturday morning. Our other son and I are doing fine and I'm trying to keep myself busy to ease my mind. It helps too that we're having quite a nice weather here right now.

Take care everyone and HUGS,

BHR

Morning Everyone,

Thanks for the update on Harriet, BHR.  I haven't been on the website in a few days.  Hoping Harriet's surgery goes well today.

BHR, the 20th will be here before we know it.  Hope your son has a safe trip.

I was in Hiawassee, GA on Tuesday, think Blairsville wasn't far.  Went to the GA Mountain Fair for the day.  It was about 3 l/2 hr trip.  Let the bus driver do the driving.  Got myself a couple of "glittery" shirts for the concert next month!!!  Haven't even tried them on.

Enjoyed seeing Nicole in Due West Saturday.  She didn't get to play, but I went to see "her" not her playing.  One good thing about my son going, he took us all out for dinner on the way home.

Elaine, congrats to Kelsey getting on the All Star team.

Y'all have a good Thursday.
