Anita so sorry to hear your hubby got sick.
I pray he is well soon.Home is always where
our parents are and when we lose them its
hard not having that home base.
Gwen so happy to see you are celebrating
12 years cancer free. It was four years in
June since I lost my hubby to cancer.
Not very happy they are putting the walking
path on my side of the creek.I sure hope the
complex is going to put a fence up.I had to get up
to go to the bathroom at 5:30 so watched the
last of the Ryder cup golfing. The U.S. lost by
a 1/2 point.I know I should be cheering for Europe as
the Canadains play for them but their was no Canadians
on the team and the U.S. is closer (LOL)

Gwen, congratulations on your cancer-free 12 years!!

Beautiful day - but chilly.  Barely making it into the 60's.  Went to the eye doctor this morning, all is well and no change in my glasses.

Man, did the Bears stink last night!  It was a horrible game and our quarterback went out with a concussion.  Not good.

Thanks for starting the October thread Anita.  Glad your stepson's surgery is over with and he is doing well.  Also, hope your husband is feeling better.

Congratulations Gwen on being cancer free for 12 years.

Tammy, so touching about your mother's necklace.  Just love your dad as much as you can.  Both my parents have passed on and I miss them everyday.

We're having some cool temps and I don't like it!  It will help the leaves change, but the "bear" in me wants to curl up in a cave.......

Gwen, Congratulations on 12 years of being cancer free.  My husband is doing okay.  It was just a severe migraine.  His son should be coming home tomorrow.  He is doing great too.

Gwen I lost George to early but for
him he didn't have  a day of suffering.
He died from a blood clot before the cancer
caused pain.
Anita enjoy your thanks giving weekend.
Looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner
at Teresa's.It is nice that I can enjoy
it without cooking(LOL).
