Congratulations to all of you Aussie fans getting great seats at Alan's concert. March 2011 wil be here soon enough. Enjoy the concert and make sure to please come back here and give us your reviews. . .and photos too, if it is possible. I had a delightful time reading all your posts from the day the tour was announced and thru today, the post tickets pre-sale day. I went through all that emotions you have just gone through the first time my family and I saw Alan in concert. . .and that was just from purchasing our tickets. Wait when March gets here and you will surely re-live some of that emotions and heart thumping excitement. :-) I would sheepishly admit here that I had sleepless nights from excitement the week of the concert and just couldn't wait for the evening of the concert to finally come around. :-) Alan did not disappoint us and his concert had been well worth the wait. . .and money spent.

Dee and Jenny, how did you two do with your ticket(s) purchases?

Have loads of fun, all of you, at Alan's concert!!!!!

Woo hoo!  Sydney concert, section A, Row 4.  Wow Kimberley, if we'd been attending the same concert we could have met!  Hubby and I are ecstatic to be with Nan and Phil.  Thanks Nan for getting the tickets for us!!!!!!  It was stressful just sitting at my laptop watching for updates from Nan.  Never having bought concert tickets before I didn't think this was a good time to have a go.

How did you get on Jen?

Sorry I didn't let you know before BHR but I didn't get back here to the forum after we got the news because at the same time all this excitement was going on we found out that a friend of ours had been found unconscious and was rushed to hospital, where he later passed away.  So emotions are like a huge see saw right now.  Extreme joy and extreme sadness.  Russ was such a nice guy.

Hi everyone. I am so excited got my tickets last night. Thought I would miss out as it said the gold section only had single seats left and I need 3 but tried anyway and got them. Then I had to get another 2 for my SIL and it said no I could have them even though we had logged in under her name so closed it all down and tried again and got them as well.

Can believe AJ is coming to Aus have been waiting for ever for this. Roll on March.

Thanks to everyone that helped us Aussies thru the exciting and stressful period.

Dee, so sorry to hear about you friend that is very sad.

Just purchased tickets for my SIXTH AJ concert....I've seen him five times in action in Canada!

He's simply the best...for all fans seeing him in concert for the first time, you're in for the time of your life.  NO ONE delivers traditional country like Alan...to me, he's always been the King of Country.

Welcome to Australia, Alan!

That is quite alright, Dee. Good to see you post back and congrats on the good seats at Alan's concert. Happy for you. Enjoy the concert and give Alan a wave for us here at the forum. I hope you and Jenny will be able to get together at the concert, if she's going to the Sydney show. Sorry to hear about your friend's passing. I can understand what you're going through right now, emotionally.

Take care. Missed you posting here.

HUGS,

Yes Kurt. (Strayhorn) Monty responded to a comment I posted on facebook, mentioning the trip over.

Thanks for kind comments regarding losing Russell. It's rocked our little corner of the world. Only chatted to him a few days ago. You just don't know what the next day holds, do you? Gotta make each one count and try real hard to treat one another with kindness - reduces those regrets if something happens to them.

Who else has tickets for Sydney concert, in Section A, around row 4?
