Welcome to the Forum.  I don't know who the opening act for your concert will be
but I know if you look through some of the articles, there's one that has the latest
opening act listed.  Alan has been picking some local talent too, so I'm not sure.  He
would not pick anyone who's boring for sure.  He doesn't cut his show short either
when there's an opening act.  You ALWAYS get more than your money's worth.  He's
such a kind man.

Have fun at the concert.  I think that's the one I saw in CT.  It's fantastic!!!!! He had
Josh Turner and Chris Young but that gig is done so I don't know who he'll have.  I want
him to come back to The Palace of Auburn Hills or Caesar's Windsor before he gets too
booked.  I need a dose of good cheer for this year in Michigan.  It's been tough for me.

fyi
I phoned the casino's toll free number and a very knowledgeable
woman informed me that Alan has no opening act but that he will
be playing for an hr and a half...  There ya go!!  I'd trust her info...
She was very nice, too!!

I know sometimes singers do not have opening acts at the casinos
that's partly why I phoned for you all. Thought that could be the
case.

You are so sweet to phone the venue to find out about the opening act for Sept.
25th.  I would love to be going to that to see him again.  I've never been to a
concert where I felt he did not stay on stage long enough.  Of course, forever would
be just fine for me.

I have loved every concert I 've been to and wish I could go to this one also.  Anyway,
you are so kind to do that for everyone who is going.  Thank you for all of them.

Hi Suem

Yes excited Dorothynan here in the UK.
Be good if Alan is on his own my husband & I can live with that!

Seats are section F row 2  seats 3 & 4
Entered meet & greet too but not heard anything as yet.

Been a big Alan fan since beginning & first time saw him in Birmingham Alabama year 2002.
Joe Nichols was support.
Great show!

Will also be seeing Alan twice in Minot ND at the Norsk Hostfest 28th/29th Sept.
Wow 3 Alan concerts in one vacation!!

Dorthynan,  I will be sitting next to you in seats 5 and 6.  Our section is to the far right of the stage.  We won't have the stage in front of us.  Wish the casino would have given the fan club the best seats.

How spooky is that! What a coincidence.

Can't believe your seats are next to ours.

Really don't mind not being centre stage we are just sooooooooooo glad to have the oportunity to be in the same place same time as Alan.

We have a few thousand miles to negotiate first so hope he appreciates our efforts!

Lewis, you are to the far right of the stage .  My tickets are in the same section.  And yes it outdoor.  I saw him at Mystic Lake a few years ago too.  You can see the layout of the ampitheatre on the Grand Casino website.

Suem, Dorthynan & lewis55901.  I hope you all enjoy the show.  He never does a bad concert.  I haven't been to one of his concerts yet in this tour.  Last September I went to two consecutive concerts of his and had a meet & greet.  He is wonderful.  I have been quite busy that so far none of the dates were good for me. I will have to keep an eye open now for one of his shows.  I would even travel across the border to see him.   AnitaMartina

Dorthynan, I am so happy for you to be seeing Alan 3 times while in the States!
You are a stronger person than moi. ha

That's the fun of fc seating... You get to also meet the other fan club members.

I hope you all get the fc m&greet passes!!!!!!!!!

You are welcome re: my phoning. It was toll free and I had time. ; )

I wish you each and everyone safe travels. I know the show will be
worth any travel time involved. LOL

I'm jealous of all of you who will be going to the concert.  I guess I won't see Alan this
year because he's not coming here.  Guess it just wasn't in the cards for me.
I hope you all have a wonderful time and let us know how good the show was.  There's never
been a bad one yet and I've been to 3.  I miss the peaceful treat of Alan's concerts and
the excitement he gets from the audience.  He's just a super super entertainer and person.
