Thank you, BHR, for copying these. I am very thankful that Alan & Lee Ann got this nomination for Til the End, a beautiful song.

I am proud of Miranda who leads the nominations with 9.

I also like The Band Perry for Vocal Group & Chris Young for Best New Artist.

Will be watching the show & hopefully Alan will be there.

Guess I am surprised to see one nomination.  Looks like a Miranda walk away.  I also can not see George there again and no Alan.  Twang is an old CD.  I love George but love Alan more.
Not sure I will even watch.  Thanks BHR.

Thanks for putting up that whole list.  That's a lot of work.  Well, Alan finally got noticed
for a song (event).  He's been snubbed by CMA for so many years, I haven't even bothered
to watch the show except for the gowns etc., and just to see Alan and family.  Then I switch
channels.  I love George Strait too, but no one can tell me that he has been THAT consistently
better than Alan EVERY YEAR in all categories.  I guess I'm sour grapes and am just learning
how political this thing really seems to be.  I may be wrong but that's the appearance that's
showing up all the time.  I don't want to deny George his due, but Alan is an even match,
certainly not LESS.

Guess I'm just sad about it and Alan is so graceful about it and I admire him for that.  I just
want to see him get what's right and that is having a trophy in his hands again at CMA.

Alanfan I basically agree with you but Alan has now gotten so many awards that I don't think he'll be that concerned about it. He will probably show up with his family & be his gracious self as always.

I am so in tune with you Alanfan.  Alan does not care, but my heart breaks year after year when Alan writes music and is always there with a helping hand in the true country music field.   Know that the accolades come alot, but nothing beats seeing Alan on that stage with a trophy in his hand.  I feel neglected even if Alan doesn't.              Marian

Just wanted to comment that the picture of Alan in the Navy shirt and the wonderful
smile is spectacular.  I printed it on heavy paper and have it on the side of my frig.
I smile at it every time I walk by.  I know I"m old and a bit crazy but it makes me feel good.
