Don't know why they're taking 2 days & 3 announcements to do this but here's the info from All About Country:

CMA Awards Final Nominations Announced August 30th - September 1st
Two Days Of Announcements From Two Cities
The 44th Annual CMA Awards hits ABC-TV Wednesday, November 10th, live from the Bridgestone Arena/Nashville. But before then, there's a lot to be accomplished.

The next phase is the announcement of the Final Nominees. We'll get that news spread over two mornings from two different cities. We'll get the first wave of nominees for 7-categories from Justin Moore and Chris Young Tuesday, August 30th from The Ryman Auditorium.

That same morning, Steel Magnolia unveils the Finalists for the CMA Broadcast Awards, including Personalities of the Year and Stations of the Year.

Then, Wednesday, September 1st, Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert announce the Nominees for the 5-final categories on ABC-TV's Good Morning America.

Want to get the action on your station? Premiere Radio Networks will carry the Awards and Broadcast Award nominations live to Country Radio as they are announced each day.

CMA Board Chairman Steve Moore tells us the Final Nominees are the most-anticipated Country Music. He feels that, "By making the announcements over two days, we hope to focus even more attention on all the deserving nominees and their accomplishments."

Well, they better not forget "our man" this year. He deserves recognition for the tremendous "country songs" he performs, and often writes.

Thanks for sharing.
