I'm jealous that you guys get to see Alan again. I'm embarassed to say that I don't
know the Harters at all. I guess I don't spend enough time watching GAC or CMT or I
would know. I do vote every day, however. I saw Josh Turner co-hosting the Today
show today for a bit. He didn't even mention Alan while I was watching. He got a lot
of exposure travelling with Alan. He may have mentioned him earlier but didn't say anything
about being helped or influenced by him at all. He rattled off a bunch of Country stars.
Don't really know about the rest because I didn't watch the whole thing.
I am still praying to see Alan again this year in the Michigan/Windsor, Canada area. I saw
him in Windsor at the Casino - great show. Also in CT. That was a super show - the
most outstanding I have seen. I'd love it if he'd come back to the Palace of Auburn Hills.
Happy Birthday to Dani - that lovely and talented daughter. He should be very proud of her.
She sure loves her daddy.

Betty, So happy you are getting to go...If my husband wasn't ill, we had planed to drive to this one..I think you will enjoy the opening act also. " the Harters," I've heard them sing "Jenny" on CMT and they are good. Great sound , young threesome and one plays a mean mandoline, which I love.. The girl sings great and they harmonize so well. So happy you are going, come back & tell us all about it please. I miss Alan so much.. You might find a video of the Harters on CMT... they sing great! Glad for all that are going to see Alan too! Hi Betty, There will be 3 rows in front of us for Band and management. I checked w. Glens Falls. We are in seats 3 and 4, row 2. I am counting down the days! So glad he will be in New York on 9/11. It means a lot to us. |
