Are you allowed to bring your camera's into the concerts? I know the fan club has a page of fans pics from concerts. I have a small point and shoot and my husband has a an SLR (this is the camera we really want in!). Just wondering if we are permitted?
Thanks
Trina

Hi Trina: As far as I know, it is usually up to the performer whether or not cameras are allowed. I think it is safe to say that
Alan allows cameras because I have never been asked to put mine away or to bring it back to the car. I don't think video cameras are allowed, however.

Cameras were not a problem. I had no trouble capturing some awesome shots with my digital slr.

Rusty if you who I think you are - I had no problems taking pics with the same camera you were using! LOL. You are my other half, aren't you. I did not even know you had a profile on here

Most venues do not allow cameras with professional looking lenses.
And some will confiscate cameras with recording features.
Most digital cameras do record, too, but I've not seen those
confiscated or seen people told to return them before entering
the venue.

Trina,
we were allowed to take our Nikon D40, but no recording Video's. we could not use our extended long Lens either.
Some places we could not use our Flash, but most we could. I hope this helps.
