Alan Articles, etc.

Here are some Alan news items I took notes of while unable to post here on the forum the last few days:
1.) Hoping not to confuse you all, Alan is featured in the latest issue of CW (July 12 issue) featuring the CMA Fest 2010 as the cover story. Disappointingly, he was not in any of pictures featured from the said event. I expected as much as soon as I saw the 2-page special pictoral feature on Alan ("Captured Moments" pgs. 22-23). He is also featured on "Vacation With The Stars" feature (pgs. 26-30). He's on the last page of that feature. From the editor's letter, it was also noted that Alan, among other stars will also be featured in the next issue of CW (in stores July 12) regarding stories behind the biggest hits in Country Music.
2.) From gac.com - Alan's WWY was (is?) one of GAC's Top Twenty Patriotic Songs.
http://blog.gactv.com/blog/2010/07/01/top-20-patriotic-songs/#more-8951
And last but not the least. . .
3.) From musicrow.com - An audio clip of Alan answering a question for the magazine's online site's feature, "Artists Step Up and Speak Out." The recording volume is not set loud enough so you all may have to adjust your computer's volume close to the loudest or the loudest setting to hear clearly what Alan is saying. Another sugggestion would be to use a headphone.

BONUS: I don't if this has been posted before. . .my apologies if it has been: Alan's performance photos rom the CMA Fest 2010 -

Enjoy, everyone!

Hi There:
Thanks for all the information on Alan and wonderful pictures. I love his comments on
his cars also. I collect die cast Fords and enjoy hearing about Alan's cars. Now, of course,
much ahead of the cars are his music and concerts. I've never had a M & G but one
of these days before I get too old, it could happen. At least I've had the pleasure of 3
concerts so far. It's so warm and relaxing to be among Alan's fans and his Strayhorns too.

Thanks BHR. I love that Thunderbird as well. Denise, thanks for finding it and giving it back to Alan. A gift that will never be topped.
Alan always dresses and looks fantastic. Alan and George Strait seem to keep it country with their attire. Love Alan's style. Always with class.

Ditto to Alan in a T-shirt. But I am happy seeing him any way at all. Thanks for all the links.
