BHR's memnbership expired & she won't be able to renew it for a few days but she is in need of our prayers, I got an e-mail from her & here is what she said:
I'm in need of prayers again. . .this time for Ken. The doctor/specialist that performed the liver ultra sound on Ken has just called and the news is not good. First off, he have multiple gallstones and the doctor highly recommended for Ken to go ahead and have his gallbladder removed as re-occurence of gallstones could cause problems with his pancreas and that would be a real serious emergency situation. The surgery will be done by laparoscopy so he'll be back home either the same day of the surgery or day after. He wil be scheduled for it as soon as he finds a hospital that will take our health insurance (the hospital this doctor is affliated with doesn't take our health insurance. . .Tricare). He will also make contact with our health insurance agent to try to get referrals.
As far as his liver is concerned, that's another concern. While the ultra sound didn't show any abnormality, in Ken's liver biopsy result form Seattle, however, it indicated that he have early stage of liver cirrhosis. His doctor there never said anything to him about it that he can remember. So he's also going to have another liver biopsy done too. What was that they say. . .when it rains it pours? All prayers will be greatly appreciated. I wil keep you and everyone on the board updated.

BHR, I am sending up prayers for you right away- you are dealing with a lot.Hope that you can find a hospital for Ken & get the further liver studies that he needs. Lots of love coming your way.

BHR,
So sorry for your husbands health problems. I offer You and your beloved Husband my prayers and pray you will find strength to get through this.
You can get through this with God's help. I wish you the best outcome possible.. Take one day at a time, that is what I have learned to do..It's terribly difficult.Not sure where you are now, but Emory University hospital , Atlanta is good.
