Hello to All of You. I'm doing pretty well under the circumstances prevailing- as they say. Can't make any plans or take a vacation til this rotator cuff problem improves some more. Waiting patiently & going to PT & doing the home exercises faithfully. The weather here is absolutely so hot. Every day the heat index is over 100. Needless to say I don't get out much.

Sharon- I know you're getting the same heat we are getting.

BHR- Glad to hear yout hubby had his surgery & is recuperating.

Anita- Your trip to Europe sounds wondeerful & glad you could meet up with Jean.

Terry- Glad to see you post again.

Jerrie- Sorry you have not been able to go to a concert this year- hope you hubby is doing a lot better.

Kathy- Hope you are feeling better by now.

Elaine- You're having so much hot weather to be as far North as you are. I heard it has been hot all over the world this year & thinking that global warning is for real.

More rain & storms last night and this morning.   Our area has been hit really hard with these storms.  Milwaukee has taken a big hit.    It's cloudy right now, but no rain for awhile.

Harriet, sorry you are still fighting the health battles.  Keep working at it, it will get better.

I'm just about to finish up my antibiotics and I am feeling much better.   Just tired, it takes awhile to bounce back from being that sick. 
One more week of work - I can hardly believe it's here already.   They are having big party for me on Tues at work - that should be nice.    I've pretty much turned everything over to my replacement and this week will be more advising & answering questions.   WOW - it's really happening!

 Cindy or Staff was so nice to return my call about this. I had been through so much recently w/hubby & my health issues
plus mom  passing,Sister getting breast cancer etc etc I guess it just slipped my mind.been concered about my son's house being in the Nashville flood, so it's been enough to drive a Nut crazy ha! Honestly, I had to turn it over to God.. it got to be so much , so soon.. I hope I never forget this again, it is rather demeaning. BHR talking about hers, should have rang a bell with me, but no lol

Hello everyone, it's hot here, but nothing new, I do live in the Mojave Desert.  Finally done with the census, turned in my badge yesterday.  Headed to the airport early in the morning for my flight to Denver.  Finally getting to see Alan again this weekend in Cheyenne and going to enjoy some time with AJ friends.  When I get back I might actually have some time to catch up and post more often.  Hope everyone is well and hugs to those that need them.

Terry hope you have a wonderful time at the concert and visiting "friends".  Give them a hug for me.  Glad you're able to make this concert.  You're probably glad the census is over.  Will you be going school this fall?

We're having company this weekend.  Jerry's daughter and family from TN are gonna come for a few days.  We have homecoming at church on Sunday. 

I'm a new great grandma.  My grandson Josh is now a proud father of a baby girl.  Avery Lynn, born on July 23, weighed 6 lb. 6 oz, and 19 inches long.  I've just seen pictures.  She is beautiful.

Still having hot weather with scattered thunderstorms.  Typical summer weather for the south.

Hi all...
We are back in Minnesota....not moved in but close.  We'll be moving Sat., Sun, and Monday.  So ready to have a place to call my own again.
My summer travels was wonderful.  Loved our summer along the eastern seaboard.  Can still hear the ocean.  Washington DC is a great city to visit with all its history.  Surprised at what a beautiful city Annapolis was.  Got lucky my two nephews were called back to the Naval Academy while we were in DC so we got to see them too.  Wonderful country and so many beautiful places.  Thankful to the Lord for our safe voyage.
Sharon, congrats but you are too young to be a great grandma.  How special a little girl.
Terry, have fun, jealous you are getting to see AJ but I know you'll share your experience. 
Elaine, I wouldn't like that either.  Congratulations to your granddaughter.
Jerie, you are too hard on yourself....I'm sure the fan club understood with all you've been through---tough year.
Kathy, are you retired?
Dizzy--glad Mae is on the mend and thanks for the great time in Jax.
Well have to run...had a busy day taking care of Joel as he was home from daycare ill.........and then lots of cuddling with Alex tonight.  great way to celebrate my birthday with two best little guys in the whole world.

I'M RETIRED!!   Today was my last day at work.  What an emotional week this has been.  My party on Tuesday was absolutely amazing.  Such a good time and so many people showed up, I was a little overwhelmed.  I was reluctant about having a party, but I'm so glad I did.  Saw a lot of people that I worked with over my 29 years that I haven't seen in quite a while. 
One of the ladies that I work with wrote a beautiful poem for me, we had tons of food and a beautiful cake and very nice presents.    WHEW - exciting & emotional!

Sharon, congrats on being a new great grandma!
Terry, so glad to see you posting again.  Have a great time at the Cheyenne concert this weekend, can't wait to read your review!

Jeri, glad you got your membership renewal all straightened out.
Sue, I know you had a good time traveling this summer, but I'm sure you'll be glad to stay put for awhile.  Good luck with the move in.
