Ladies - I love Alan - you all know I do - and I agree, Jinx, he looks fabulous in this video- nothing short of sizzlin' summer HOT - that said - I would not have chosen this song for release - I would have gone with "Where I belong "- a great summer song- and honestly - does this video look a little familiar to you?  Maybe Kenny Chesney and George Strait did it with Shiftwork?

C'mon big guy - this is a really good CD - I really like Freight Train but you need to pick something that is going to compete a little bit with the current pop country sounds without selling your soul - this isn't getting airplay around NW Ohio and the last one didn't either - I loved the new tour show - you are better than I have ever seen you - I am thinking the departure from Arista might be a really good thing -  my dear have you thought about  asking us? - we know what would do well on the radio - you will always take my breath away and make me swoon but - dude - if you aren't on the video countdowns and on the radio how is that to happen?  Print media only goes so far!! <3 Gayle

I love HHAAH and think the video is just perfect. I watched it for the first time just a few minutes ago and it took my breath away.  It's dramatic and poignant and I love the silhouettes of Alan against the American flag.  I will enjoy viewing it again and again.  Congratulations to Alan and Theresa Wingert!

Gayle, you're right on the money with suggesting That's Where I Belong should be Alan's single.  It's a beautiful, well crafted, classic song and although would have been good for the summer, can stand up to release at any time.  I definitely hope it is Alan's next single.

I hope he releases "That's Where I Belong" next.  Gayle, you just want to see him in a hammock on a
boat...LOL!   It would be a great summer song but good anytime.

Amen! Great video. I posted a link to CMT to play it on another thread. If we play it on CMT it helps get it on CMT Top 20 Countdown. I know some of you can't access CMT.

Whoa - great video!   Alan looks awesome and I'm glad the Strayhorns are in it.   Looks like Alan enjoyed making this one.   He looks amazing as usual - love the shot of him hitting the anvil (wonder of that's his father's anvil that they used for the song?)

That's great, Nelle. I've been watching & voting too. I'm sure when CMT Top 20 comes back up Monday we will be able to vote there.

I have not seen the video yet, but am anxious.  My family as always been from the labor force so it is special to me.  YES, YES, please release Where I Belong next.   I had hoped for Laid Back in Low Key from Good Time, but not.
Alan remember the mega hit 5 O'Clock Somewhere.  It is my license plate. Want Yee Haw, but someone has it and of course, they are not giving it up.
Like yourself, I love the water and songs that relate to them.
Absolutely love Freight Train...title, pictures, songs and whole package.  Great job Alan and The Strayhorns.

Love Alan in the summer hat.   Great photos, background and labor force, though it hurt to see the mine.  Bless the miners and all.
