It should be out soon and I think it will be a good one!  Video's can make or break a Song w/me..

So nice to see Alan's name listed as the Country' Biggest Stars. In a "World Premiere Event"
Looking forward to this! Trace Adkins" Arlington" might be among them and/or others of Alan's. I think if "WWY" is in the Library of Congress it should definitely be included. CMT should pick Songs with deep meaning for this Premiere, my opinon.
I would think Brad Paisley's "Welcome To The Future" would be on there, love Brad, he's a nice guy!

Remember this Wednesday night at 8PM est..also CMT

Did not see Otto's house.  Sure it was interesting.
Thought he was so cute when he commented that they did not need security guards when Alan, Trace and he were touring together...since they are all three a force in their own.

Thought before and again today when watching the CMT Insider.....Alan has cut his hair a little in the back.   Like it Alan....

Sorry you didn't see the show with Otto. I really liked the video on nashville Country Club, Otto says that his house had water too, also someone said that Clay walker lost his only horse in the Flood. I would put the link on here but I am a member and not sure I can. James Otto was like me and could not understand that the press didn't value Nashville enough to put it on TV much.. It was a Historic Flood, worst thing since the Civil war..
I still can't see why Fox wasn't covering the losses. It is still a mess, my son says a lot of the help went downtown Nashville and it's hard for them living near Brentwood , to Get anyone to do the work on his gutted home. They will have
the downtown Historic things done right away, because of it being a Tourist Town, and my son understand this but they
need help re-doing homes out there.. to be liveable. Lucky for my son, his wife's sister has a cottage out on many acres of land that did not flood nearby, they can use.. to just get away.. But during the storm, they could not get there as the roads were covered with water.. That house had no water damage. They let people stay in the House that needed a place, just to keep check on it. They are back in their own homes now. Anyway Otto is right, more press brings more money , but it can be the opposite too, so maybe it's best they stayed away..CNN & Anderson Cooper were there when Kenny called him..
BTW, Alan's Video will be out soon, they said..In June..

Harriet,
Yes, I saw it but they didn't cover the outlineing areas and towns as much as they should have..People died in their cars on the interstate and much worse than indicated. It's strange as they usually blow everything out of proportion and make it sounds worse..
The neighborhoods in Historic areas were not covered..Also most of the money went to the Downtown area because of it being a Tourist area..to draw money.I understand this had to be done first..BUT Fema MONEY also went downtown mostly

My son said they were so lack of diapers for the babies that they once had to go to their firedepartment to ask for diapers..It was people helping people or they would never survived. They brought food from their Church and babysat while she and my son could help others rip up the carpets before mildew set in. they had to take this all out to the curb to be picked up as it was a health hazard. Horses died nearby from not having food or maybe diseased..in farms.

After the water receeded we sent them food, diapers and Gift cards to buy things at Target & Kroger, that was the closest markets to them. The Mayor actually came to their house.. Their drainage was stopped up is why some of the area flooded more..They were some of the lucky ones, they had power. some didn't.. It is still hard to hire poeple to do the work that they need done , with so many going downtown to help out. It's likes re-doing the whole inside of the house . The only room not a mess, was the nursery & thank God for that..people came to babysit and play with the children..all walls are stripped off the drywall & plastic hanging..water seeped in windows and it isn't an old house like mine. It is ten years old, but to me that's not that old.
Sorry for rattling on about this, but  when your children are affected , it is not easy to deal with. Mostly because of the Babies.I guess you just have to experience it, to Understand the concern for Everyone, not just my family...

I did appreciate Anderson Coopers Story on CNN but it was not all areas around Nashville Communities in other cities around..only a small portion covered..mostly downtown. Historic Areas, one neighboorhood. My Son lives in Williamson Country, same County Alan lives in..AS a Mother this has been so heartbreaking to see this happen to my Son & Family.
Thank God  They survived it , some didn't.. Thanks Harriet. Hugs, Jerrie-FL & MS

It's amazing the outpouring of love and volunteers to bring Nashville and the surrounding areas back to normal. We stopped in Nashville the week after the flood, coming up Hwy 100 off the Natchez Trace.  I cried when I saw all the mud on the streets, up the trees and bushes, and all the people's belongings piled high along both sides of the road. People were out working every where. My husband and I love Nashville and visit there often. It's a shame about the oil catastrophe in the Gulf, but it took the attention away from our beloved Nashville.
