I just got an email from Country Weekly and it says that Alan sold his home.  This is what the article said:

Alan Jackson’s Home Sells for Record Price
Share / Save published June 1, 2010 by Ken Tucker

Alan Jackson's Nashville-area home has sold for $28 million, according to NashvillePost.com. The 18,600-square-foot Williamson County home, which also has a 20-car garage, a gymnasium and a pair of two-bedroom guesthouses, was put on the market almost a year ago for $38 million.

The buyer is a trust in the names of Willis and Reba Johnson. Willis Johnson is the founder and chairman of publicly traded Copart Inc., a Fairfield, Calif., company that auctions off wrecked cars for insurance companies and other institutions.

The ultimate sale price of $28 million is more than double the highest figure any single-family residential parcel in Middle Tennessee is known to have sold for in recent memory, according to the website.

WOW.  That is still alot of money.  I am glad he was able to sell it.

Take voice lessons Jean/B, I'll get someone to Merchandise you ha!ha!

Alan and Denise would have been just as happy without that money, I'm sure of it..I have known too many who had had millions and were not happy.
So glad Alan stays humble and enjoys his gifts from God, by doing what he loves to do.

You can still give it a try lol
