I actualy have seen a TERRIBLE picture of Alan Jackson. I emailed and told them they should take it off their site. They swear to me it is actually him but it looks like a look a like to me. Or Alan Jackson on crack or something. Check it out and tell me what you think. It is really awful
January, Alan might appreciate your not posting this one.lol Everyone has bad shots and this was when he was younger & thin..most likely. He gets better w/age..I would love his music if he looked that way, or anyway..( He looks EXACTLY like the new calender of November to me.) I saw him real close too. Most important, Alan is super nice and talented. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", as mom used to say ha! It's just a really bad shot of Alan period. I'm sure he never looked that bad LOL..no matter I love Alan for the work he does..and meeting him was a dream come true for me, so he must not have looked too bad to me ha! Seriously he is handsome and super nice, a real gentleman.. would love to see him again.SOON! Jerrie-MS- PS-I have one before a front tooth was fixed, that I would never want anyone to see ha! it brokea piece off. there are just bad shots of beautiful people and and Alan is..we place way too much emphasis on looks and age.. |

Jeri - follow the link I posted - I do not believe that is Alan - and he should appreciate me posting if it is because HE could get them to take it out of the rotation - he is buddies with those guys over there. That picture is awful!

Gayle, I held off posting a response here, but, I think there's one thing that you and everyone that has responded here may have amissed. . .or may have ignored. . .in the photo. As Jeri said, that may have been taken during Alan's early years in his country music career. But what made Alan looked bad in that photo is. . .and, yes, that is Alan. . .the shadow from his arm that went across his face as he tip his hat, posiibly to the audience. What obviously is the stage lighting was right on his face and when he touched the rim of his hat, his arm casted a shadow across his face. Now, try to envision that photo with his arm down and keep in mnd that he was "skinny and lanky" during those early years, would you still think that is not Alan? Sorry, Gayle, but that is Alan. Just a bad shot of him, that's all.

To answer your question, Gayle, I know it is Alan because I've seen that picture before with 2 or 3 other shots from the same event it was taken from. . .been checking online for them; I'll post the link here if and when I find them. And I'm so sure of it that it's Alan, if I have a $1M money to bet on it, I'll bet it all. That photo may not do Alan good, but as they say, however, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Who knows, maybe the person that took that photo is actually proud of him/herself for having taken that. JMHO too.

Love, love, love the New December calendar!!! . It's from my Favorite DVD of Alan's for the Holidays, "Let It Be Christmas" I
love the music on that one and will be playing it for Christmas!
