SOMEBODY,

Any way you look at it, Alan is a special person.  His faith and his kindness tell me that he
lives as he believes.  His music and his ways always let us know that he thinks of others
before himself.  That is a rare quality these days and I am honored to have had the pleasure
to go to some of his shows.  I hope someday that I will be lucky enough to meet him but
meanwhile I will pray that God continues to bless him and reward him with the talent he
shares with all of us.

AlanFan, I think Alan is just Real. It's his nature to be the Man he is. His father could have been like he is...
maybe not.. He Sings so great too. I know his family has to be proud of him.

I met Alan and I assure you there was no disappointment, he is super nice! So kind and polite.
Plus a  great looking Guy with Charisma!

Jeri

Did you think I said Alan was a disappointment.  I would never in my life say that.
I love him dearly and would run out and see him again if I got the chance.
I'm glad you love him too.

AlanFan, no  no! hon,  I know that sometimes I have met people who I know on TV and found them to be different in person..
but Alan is the same.. non prestentious. I would love to see him again, before I get too old to walk lol.. I will always love Alan's Music, but he doesn't seem like he has to be put up on a pedestal. He is just so REAL. so easy to speak with..
So super nice! I was so lucky to get that meet & greet when I did. we were so exhausted from staying with my Mom then in the hospital & taking her back & forth to the NH. we were mentally & physically worn out.. It was great that God interceded in this. My sister and her husband we got tickets and took them with us. she has just finished her radation for cancer. she is fine now..I have never seen her smile so much looking at Alan. we had about fourth row seats and nice view
she said it was the closest she had ever sat in Concert. She really enjoyed the Concert! I wanted to take her with me to get my meet and greet but could not.. she used to live near Alan's mom in GA too. years ago. She was so happy for me. It was such a dream come true. AlanFan and all of you , I hope you get to see Alan again.. especially Sue, she is super nice!
The thing is, my brother in law is a very religious man and my sister is on the Symphony Guild at her home , Thye liked Country Music and Alan.. now he has another Fan in my Sister..
It's just like Alan to give his time, for the miners famillies. All of his help for TN Floods was wonderful. My son was in this, in
near Alan's Office..I hope his office got no water..My son is throwing a Father's Day celebration at his wife sisters cabin
in the woods, it had no water, arkansas stone and up higher. The road leading there was under water, however. Also his twins turned one, during this horrible flood.. Their house is still waiting to be re-done inside..so bad for young couples with Babies.. etc..Not sure my husband will be able to go by then, he has more tests coming up too, we had forgotten. we went last year. Had an old fashioned picnic outside with grill and homemade food. a freind brought the beautiful cake, she owns a bakery..one brought the meat etc...others veggies. She has a garden so we had plenty of food. It was great!!
they had industrial fans running all over the yard and a tent with the food inside..we had a great Father's Day..My Sister may go to this one, she enjoys the Country.. Nashville still has much work to do but probably giving many jobs that are much needed too. We had intended to stay in the Gaylord for Christmas this year & may still yet..I loved the food there and hubby had them bring me breakfast in bed one day. lol He said I had to get dressed this year ha! we took the whole family & they said it was the best Christmas they ever had ha! Linda Davis, Lady Antebellum's Mother sang for us.. she looks just like her daughter , except older, so pretty.. this flood will be remembered as the largest tragedy since the Civil war, but the stations didn't feel it was news enough to give much time , that freaks me out! CNN gave it about 15 minutes downtown mostly.. The Singers have given so much. Brad Paisley and those with theri equiptment destroyed adn are now
already on Tour. I know it  wasn't easy for them. Thye contributed so much.. especially out where my son lives too.
Thank you for them.

Jeri:  You have so much more experience with Alan than I do.  I have put him on my
pedestal because I feel that's where he belongs.  That has nothing to do with the
fact that I also think he is one of the most realistically decent people I have had the
good fortune to see 3 times.  He gets up every morning like everyone else, but it's
just special to me.  I'm in MI and far removed from the fantasy of Nashville.  You tend to
get enamoured when you are removed from the real thing!

You have been through so much hardship that I am glad that you have had the privilege
of all those experiences with Alan.  You certainly deserve it with your family problems and
misfortunes.  I wish you continued blessings for your entire family and someday (as I am 72), I
hope that I will be granted the privilege of meeting Alan in person.  I'm not expecting that,
but would be so grateful if it should ever happen.

Thanks for writing back.
