BHR, I know you are not happy right now but they say time heals all wounds. Just to offer you Birthday Wishes & hope for a long life. So glad you got that music box- sometimes we have to do things for ourselves. Welcome to The Seniors Club- it's OK, believe me.

Harriet, thanks for starting this thread. You're so sweet for doing it. I'll try to enjoy the new experience of being now an official member of the Seniors Club. :-) As hubby puts it, "Just think about all those discounts you'll be enjoying now." LOL! Glad too that we've finally met at the concert. Hope we're both able to get together another time. Would love that.

Nelle and Marilyn, thank you so much for your birthday wishes and caring messages. I miss Geline so much it will take a long time for me to get over her being gone. You're right, Marilyn. She would want me to be happy rather than sad and I'm trying my best to do just that. I think what's making it a bit difficult for me right now too is the timing of her death. That is, first there was my birthday, and now Mother's Day is coming up folowed by our anniversary about a week later and then there's Father's Day too. All those important days that we always have received greetings from her via e-cards and cellphone texts. I don't even want to think about the Season Holidays. I'm bginning to feel a little bit bad for my hubby who has been trying so hard to keep my spirit up. He knows how to make me smile or laugh when I needed it and I will always be grateful to him for that.
