I can share all your emotions about your son. I, too, have a disabled son (autistic) who is also a great fan of Alan's. He reacts the same way as your son does when he hears Alan singing on the radio or when they play his song at restaurants or some stores. He recently celebrated a birthday and for a special  treat we took him to Alan's concert in Alphareta, GA, which was held just 4 days prior to his birthday. I signed up for a M&G in hopes that I will be able to sneak him backstage with me but unfortunately I didn't win it. What you need to do is to sign up for the M&G from the FAN CLUB page after loging in (you have only until May 9 to sign up; I would also suggest that you also put it in your son's name, since he's a fan club member, that way you won't have any problem accompanying him backstage should he/you win). You get there and everything is pretty much self explanatory. You can also sign up for the Front Row Seat Tickets contest too from there (2 tickets). About a week prior to the concert date, you will receive a notification if you've won. By the way, did you purchase your tickets from the fan club? Just curious because they give good seats. Hope these helped you. Good Luck! Hope he/you win it!

Oh my gosh!  I, too, have a son with special needs.  He is non-verbal, uses a dynavox to communicate and LOVES Alan Jackson.  A couple of years ago, Alan was in our town, (I think I have seen him about 15 times now) and I wrote to Cindy asking if there would be anyway Alan could meet him.  Unfortunately, they didn't have the meet and greets back then.  Cindy wrote back to me and very nicely explained he would not be able to meet him this time.  However, she wanted my son's name and address and told me Alan would be sending him something.  Well, the following week a huge box arrived.  In it was a tee-shirt, pencils, pins, magnets, and more and our most prized possession: a personally autographed photo of Alan to my son with a beautiful note from Alan!  We will never forget Alan (and Cindy's) kindness for this.  It would not hurt to e-mail Cindy and tell her about your son.  You never know what might happen!  Also, Alan is doing a concert for the partial benefit of disabled children and adults about 3 hours away from my home in July.  When I found out, I needed to go. The fan club was not offerring preferred seating and, unfortunately, I got row 30.  It is an extremely small venue - actually it is a baseball field so I am hoping to be able to see him being in row 30!!!!! Just the fact that he is dong this concert for disabled children and adults made me want to be there!!  I don't know if there will be a meet and greet at that one.
Good luck to you and let me know how it goes!
