Don't forget to watch Alan on this show, he is so funny in the clip on it.. It's on April 11 Sunday at 9 AM est . Here is a clip on this Site;

http://www.alanjackson.com/news.html?n_id=1788

< Cute Clip and Happy! Good to see Alan Happy w/Host, she 's Cute. teasing Alan about" liking his jeans & she's going to try them on" LOL .
Here is what it says,

This  Sunday April 11 @9AM (8c) A&E's Private Sessions is excited to welcome superstar Alan Jackson! The entire hour is on Alan, where he sits down with host Lynn Hoffman for 30 minutes and is quite chatty, discussing the new release, his early years, moving to Nashville, etc. He performs 5 songs: Chattahoochee, Good Time, Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning), plus 2 from Freight Train: Every Now And Then, and Hard Hat and A Hammer.
And he's also surprised by Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack, Glen Campbell and Chris Daughtry.

I Can't wait to hear the new Song on TV.. My Dad was a farmer in summer & carpenter in winter..also a Lay Person, so I love Alan's Odes to the common Man. Thanks Alan for doing my favorite "Where Were You" also..
Alan is happy in this Video and so funny..Love how he interacts with Fans now!

Jerrie

PS- In MY area it's on channel 59 cable ...check your local TV listings.

On A&E this Sunday Moring , Alan did one of the Best interviews I have seen him do. Mostly because  he was relaxed and Lynn asked the right questions to Alan..Love how Alan explained his career choice, and how it was back when..

Love the question Alan answered from, Daughtry on screen, one could see Daughtry wanted his expertise in the business and was listening to his comments about his longevity in the business and respected his advice..
Leeann Womack also spoke to Alan on the screen. also Martina McBride said how she enjoyed working with Alan..

Best of all was Glen Campbell telling about how he was sent the Tape and when he heard it , he knew Alan had a chance
of being a singer. they went through lots of Singers in those days..
The show went too fast, but I enjoyed Alan talking about his career and Lynn really asked good questions.
I don't think I've seen Alan so relaxed doing an interview before.
He told about how Don't rock the Julebox happened, his hit.. He said Roger who has been with him forever , when they were in this place with a  jukebox and the legs were wobbly, Roger said "Don't Rock The Jukebox" and I guess that was Alan's idea to write that Song. Sometimes Alan said" it's only a line that inspires him or a melody.." He did several Songs on the show, Two New one called , "Hard Hat and a Hammer", also, "Every Now and Then" also He did "Good Time", WWY,
and others.. a great relaxed show with Alan..
It was great for me to see, since I missed the Concert here especially. At least I got to hear two of the new Songs from his "Freight Train"
Alan talked more in depth about his career..was great to hear it from him.
a great review and show, Lynn brought out the best in Alan..and he seemed to be having fun, sharing all of it.

Alan is really into keeping it Country but while staying up to date on things happening in the world. This is why Music is an Art Form, it tells of what's happening at the time. Just as it does in Art itself.
Oh yes! Alan talked about his daughter and seemed happy about her wanting to send in her ideas for the Video.
a very proud Dad.
Alan is the most humble and funny and Super nice men I have met who is a big Star, even Lynn said the same thing. He is Just R_E_A_L. Good Show !

Great show this morning!  I could listen to Alan talk forever - love that voice!  Singing & talking!   Alan & The Strayhorns sounded most excellent on the songs - loved the choices.  Lynn did a good interview & seemed genuinely excited to be talking to Alan.  He was very relaxed & enjoyed the extra videos from Glen (good to see him), LeeAnn & Daughtery.
Good Show!
One more tonight - Part II of The Collection - what a great AJ TV weekend!

Fans this link on here shows part of the interview w/Lynn today on A & E AM 9 am Sunday

  http://www.alanjackson.com/news.html?n_id=1788

She did a great interview w/Alan and seemed genuinely interested..Very nice & asked how they shot
Him sking on one ski in that Video.. ha!

She liked his Jeans like we do, but Alan looked sorta funny when she said "I may try them after the show" ha! Alan looked like, "wait a minute now" lol It was so funny... Alan and the Band looked so happy! This is close as I get now to seeing Alan  unless hubby gets better later in the later months. so it means a lot to me to get to see Alan in clips or hear the reviews by Fans...

I think it was the best show with Alan I have seen in such a long time.   Great to see Alan so relaxed on a couch instead of trying to hang on to a stool.   A first class interview.   Alan looked great in that maroon colored shirt.
The Strayhorns were fantastic.   The choice of songs were excellent and I was guessing he would end with Remember When.   Surprised, but pleasantly.   I am also hoping for a repeat of this on A&E.   FANTASTIC hour, with great guests.  ALAN YOU WERE JUST PERFECT.

Great show....Make sure you go and watch the behind the scenes with Lynn.  That was cute as she was taking Alan for a walk backstage.  Nice job.  This is my favorite interview.  Loved the mix of music and the interviews. Kathy, I've enjoyed the Alan weekend too.
