January, thanks for the heads up on this. I found the the details on this from musicrow.com (link below). Man, I wish we have a satellite radio. A lot of us here who doesn't have one will miss an awful lot of Alan on this radio presentation. I just might talk my hubby on getting us one. :-)

I am going to do my best to record the entire loop - if I am able to catch all of it I would be happy to put it on a CD for you

I am hoping that this works - there is a free weeks worth of sirrus radio as a trial ... they don't ask for your credit card. And it should have channel 61 sirrus which is ALL ALAN all week and you can listen on the computer. If you have sirrus in your car, thats another place to get all ALAN this weekend...Be sure to go and support and listen to the best of the best in country! My fav of all time! Here's the link for the sirrus trial http://www.sirius.com/primecountry

Ladydia, than you so much for the information and the link you shared with us all here. Hope everyone reads it. I just went to the site and learned this: There are 3 ways you can listen to Sirius satellite broadcasts. . .by satellite radio, computer (internet radio) and mobile devices (iPhone, iPhone Touch & Blackberry cellphones). I'm seriously considering on getting a subscription either on my computer or Blackberry cellphone but have to think about it first...and I better do the thinking fast too...but may go ahead for the 7-day free trial to get to listen to Alan. Here's the link to their package deal page, for anyone who will be interested:

Thanks again, Ladydia and take care.

I have been using my husband's car with XM radio. Alan is FANTASTIC. There are little snippits about the next song and he teases about it being the Alan Jackson radio station. He is really funny and I have heard little stories I've never heard. I wish it was easier to hear it all. I tried to sign up for the free trial on Sirius but it didn't work.

Gayle, if you do make a cd, I will take a copy. It will be a great thing to have for those rainy afternoons when I'm working inside.

Hi everybody! Yes, I've been listening to 'Alan Jackson Freight Train' on Sirius XM since it started last Fri. & it's simply fantastic! Just love listening to AJ's southern accent...he's just great & so funny! If anybody has earned a right to have so much success & fame it's Alan! Love to hear his stories about how he wrote his songs & it's so great that he is the same humble, down-to-earth guy today then he was back then before he started getting all those big hits! How fortunate we are to have him...so thanks, big guy! Another terrific album, AJ! One thing I can say, Alan has never let me down!!!

We listened to it driving home from the concert, for 4 hours. I think my husband was ready to strangle me. LOL! And I am still listening to it when I drive to and from work. XM should do this everyday from now on. hahah! Lindi

This was a great weekend for this - Doing the traveling by car from Lakeland, FL to Ft Myers, Orlando, Alpharetta then Greenville and back to Lakeland, FL - made the trip so much more enjoyable - especially going thru MACON GA - wouldn't you say Terry. Hated giving up that rental car and the FREIGHT TRAIN RADIO STATION.
