A 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit in Southern California this afternoon (Easter Sunday). Prayers for anyone and everyone here that may have been affected by it.

Terry, are you okay where you and your family are at?

I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area and there was a 4.1 magnitude earthquake up around Santa Rosa this afternoon, but I didn't feel anything --- thankfully, my house is built on bedrock.

It was quite the "roller" this time.  We are fine, it was about 125 miles due south of us but we felt it quite a bit.  It was a rather strange earthquake.  We have a 75 gallon fish tank in our family room, and the water was just going everywhere, our ceiling fans and light fixtures swung for quite a while after it was over.  Our home is on an earthquake fitted foundation which allows a little movement without damage.  Thanks for thinking about us here.  It's not unusual for a quake of that magnitude to trigger other quakes.  We don't live far (just a few miles) from the San Andreas fault....maybe we will get that ocean front property after all...LOL

Glad to hear you both and your families are fine after the earthquake, Terry and IndianaNative. That was quite a shaker.
