Alan Nominated for two ICM Awards
TOP 10 CATEGORY NOMINEES ANNOUNCED
FOR THE 14th ANNUAL INSPIRATIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS
Power Source Music Group is proud to announce the Top 10 category nominees for the 15th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards Show (ICM Awards). Alan's Top 10 hit, Sissy's Song received two nominations for Mainstream Inspirational Country Song & Video of the Year. The award show will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009, at 7 PM CST at the Trinity Music City USA Auditorium located in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

Congrats to Alan on the nominations. I loved Sissy's Song from the first time I heard it on the album, but it took on special meaning for me this spring when my nephew was killed in a car crash. Alan can always touch our hearts with his words and music.

Thank you for posting this, Kathy. Sissy's Song, though not your conventional everyday listening country song, is a wonderful and very inspiring one. With well written lyrics and heart tugging melody, Alan has truly captured the depth of emotion that one goes through with the loss of a loved one or a friend in this song that everyone can very easily relate to. Glad to hear it received both the nominations. I hope Alan wins them both.

CONGRATS ALAN .
I have a little story to share about how this song has touched me. Last week my Aunt died after a long battle with
cancer - I am sorry to say I haven't kept in touch with her much lately - She was such a fun lady - always laughing -
at the end of her service the family requested "SISSY SONG'" - as soon as the music started I knew what it was - I had
a peace come over me when I heard that sweet AJ voice - I know she is in a better place with no more pain and suffering.
