Tonight on GAC Soundstage from 9P-11P Eastern they will show the 2004 George Jones Tribute. I loved Alan's performance of One Woman Man & Trick Pony's performance of The Race is On. At the end George himself performs He Stopped Loving Her Today. It was a really good show & I will be watching tonight.

Harriet,

we watched from 9 PM to 11 and Alan wasn't on here. I have GAC too. Anyone else have the problem. This is the one with
Tanya Tucker, Wynonna, Vince Gill etc etc .. Why didn't I get Alan's part.. weird. All we saw of Alan was a recored part of him sitting in casual clothes and a cap , talking to the others ona  couch.. What happened?
I heard George sing with Connie Smith and others.. I liked the show and good ole Country Music but it's doubtful  there will be another to sing like George. He had his own style. he and wynette enjoyed singiing together but it was a bad relationship for both. George & Tammy sang so great together and they had this teasing going on  that made it great!
I have an old copy of them from long ago, someone gave me.
George and his wife now seem so happy and she seems like a nice lady, George is lucky to find her or vs.
I don't normally like to listen to the Singers with that twange and bad english.. but I like the music from this era.
Randy Travis I really liked. Still do.

That's right, Jeri. The show started & Alan was already on the stage & started singing immediately. He did a great job & was very funny.
