Hi to all.  Sure am looking forward to the new cd from Alan. I hope they start adding to the tour soon.  Don't forget us in the midwest Alan.
We are having a heat wave here, we actually made it into the mid 30's today.  :-)
Hope you are all doing well.  Terry, get better soon and glad to see you posting.  You were missed!
Keeping the Haitian people in my prayers and will do what I can to help the Red Cross in their relief efforts.  So good of Cindy to post the contact info too.

It has been a week or more since I posted last time.  I have been busy taking down all my Christmas decorations and other jobs that needed to get done.

Elaine, I am sorry to hear about Bill.  I hope he will get well soon.

I see everyone is getting the cold weather.  We were having it but today and thru the weekend we will be having milder days.   I think by Sunday we will be above zero Celcius.  5C to be exact.  Which is about 41F.  That might not sound warm to you southerners, but here in Canada that is warm for January.  I am loving it.

Everyone else who has been sick, hopefully you will all be feeling better soon.

It is so sad what has happened in Haiti.  As if they needed this on top of being one of the poorest countries in the world.  My thoughts and prayers go out to them and their families.

Elaine,  I would say our winters are usually sunnier than it has been this year.  This year we are having alot of cloudy days and it has been milder than most winters.  The snow is almost all gone.   I am not complaining.  My husband started building a shed in September. He had to quit working on it just before Christmas because it was getting cold and snowing.  He got as far as putting the shingles on the roof.  He wanted to have the soffats and facia done.  Also, put the windows and door put in, but he couldn't at the time.  Now that we are getting this warm spill he has been out there and got the soffats and facia done. Today we are putting in the door and windows.  If we have nice weather for awhile he might even start on the vinyl siding or that will have to wait until the spring.

Hi Everyone! I pray you are all well and not so cold, as in Florida.I have missed you all. Each & everyone of you are such a joy!

I Just noted Alan's "It's Just That Way" and went to buy it on I-Tunes right away. Love it! , haven't been home much to see if it's playing well yet but I love it! "Freight Train"
Sounds like another Great one coming up from Alan! I hope he includes a few of those special Love songs in there, that only he can do.So anxious to hear it. I got the pkg w/membership renewal and a handsome photo of Alan in it..Such a great photo!

Fans, I hope your New Year has started out better than ours recently. I had to take my hubby to emergency. he has
Pancreatitis and please remember him in your prayers. He was in the hospital four days and I went back & forth to stay with him. He has to take more meds and go for another biopsy test.He is pain free as of the moment, but on meds. feels ok. This is one of those things that just pop up fast.
I am doing great and perhaps this was a wake up call for me to realize how much he has done for me and how much we have been devoted to one another. We will most likely retire this year, after this.

We have had such nice friends drop by and send flowers and met so many wonderful couples. It has really opened my eyes to the goodness in the world. I got to love these people and share in their problems. Hopefully helping them some too.
will post more later when my hubby is better, but wanted to tell you it has been such a joy to have all of you in my life and share happy things, as well as health issues. I thank you all so very much. Please remember to include him in your prayers. He is such a good man and I love him dearly.,I made it fine & my daughter also came by to check on her Dad as well as me..

I hope Alan will be safe traveling in the cold these months..Sending prayers for him ,  also his family, plus his wonderful Band .Love them all.So nice to meet Monty , see Roger( his smile lights up the room) and meet Alan. THe Alan I admire so much, Quiet..recently,Still reminiscing,,,,Wonderful Singer/Songwriter and Man.

My hubby will be home , so I wont be online as often. Please take care and You are All such a joy to know and I thank you for your kindness and caring. I will let you know more later..
God Bless, Jerrie-FL-MS
PS- Alan please come by Jacksonville in the early Spring! we have the venue at St Augustine, also Florida Theatre!
The weather should be nice a bit later!

Jeri  will pray for your hubby that he has a speedy recovery. Took care of many pancreatitis patients in my career- it is a painful condition & glad he's feeling better & that his illness has brought you both closer. Hugs.

It was finally sunny this afternoon.  Holding in the mid-30's.

Jeri, sorry to hear about your husband - hope he's doing better soon

Terri, sorry to hear about your shoulder.  I've had some problems with my right shoulder this weekend.  Tried to lift the grocery bag from the cart to the trunk with one hand and wrenched my shoulder.  I should know better, but it was cold & I was trying to hurry.  Icy/Hot and a heating pad have helped, but I still don't have full range of motion.  Keep forgetting I'm not 25 any more. LOL!

Anxious for Alan's new album - always exciting!!

New season of '24' starts tonight with a 2-hour premiere and 2 hours tomorrow night too!  Such a long time between seasons!!
