Alan In 2018 ACM Awards Show

As posted at the homepage, it has just been announced that Alan will be performing at the 2018 ACM Awards Show to be aired live April 18th at 8:00pm/ET on CBS network. I was not planning on watching this show until this announcement today. Could this be the start of Alan's public promotion of his new album? And will they be surprising him with an unannounced honorary award since they never had honored him ever with an Entertainment Of The Year award that he richly deserved for years? Just wondering.

Good I try to watch this show every year

Guess this answers one of my wonderings. Alan is doing a collaboration of "Chattahoochee" with Jon Pardi at the ACM's. He also did that with Cole Swindle at the CMA's last year. Yes, that was a big hit for him, but, why couldn't they have picked another song, like, "Don't Rock The Jukebox"?

I'll be watching for sure ! Thanks for keeping this fan forum going. I feel guilty for not coming here as much as I use to. Been using Facebook a lot and Alan's Facebook page to keep up to date. Nice to come here and see it is still occupied and a good place to share news and all other Alan stuff !!
