UPDATE: CMA: Alan Is Performing

It has just been announced: Alan, among other legends/CMA Entertainer Of The Year winners of the past (George Strait, Reba, Brooks and Dunn, etc.) will be performing at the 2016 CMA Awards on Nov. 2nd. Guess I'll be watching it after all. This could turn out to be a historically momentous event for the Country Music Association. I say, "Kudos!" to them. Could this be a sign of a change of tide to the current country music trend? One wonders.

UPDATE: Randy Travis, Charlie Daniels, Clint Black, Roy Clark and Dwight Yoakam, among few others, has been added to the performers list at the CMA Awards show. This just made things a bit more interesting for this awards show. Sounds like they're really going all out to make this big celebration of and tribute to the past and present country music artists happen. WOW!  They gave me more reason to want to watch it. Can't wait especially to see and listen to Randy Travis perform.
