Again, you are the well-informed friend who lets me know what I would have missed.  Thank you very much.  I remember watching "Choices" when they had a long-ago special on Alan.

Thanks again.

Jerrie and Alanfan, you're welcome. I'm always trying to keep abreast of what's happening in the country music world, most especially with Alan's music and career, and hoping also to find out soon what his new single will be and when it and his new album will finally be released (Hey, Alan, what's taking it long?). Also watching out for the announcement of this year's CMHOF inductees to see if Alan will be finally inducted there. He should have been before Garth Brooks was.

Jerrie, I'm doing fine and very well and glad I have recovered from that nasty bronchitis I had last December that lasted 3 weeks. My family and I are getting ready now to travel to my home of birth, the Philippines, around mid next month. It's been years since we last visited my mother and other family members there. With my husband now retired, we decided to travel there and do it maybe once to twice a year, whenever we can financially afford to do it. My mother will be 95 in July so we'd like to see and be with her as much as we possibly can before she passes on. Thanks for your caring.

Hi Bighuskersred:
You always have the latest scoop.  I hope Alan will "let us in" on his new single soon.  He should have been in the H of F before Garth.  He's just not spending his life saying:  "Look how good I am".  He'll get it but may have to wait.  I so dearly love him.  I thank you for all your info.
Glad you are well and doing fine now.  I had that nasty bronchitis and at 77, it's not so easy to get rid of.
I read an article on Alan that proves he is no WIMP - (like "Choices") for George.  I love that about him.  No one walks on him but I want more praise for him.  His is so kind to his audiences.
Enjoy your good health now and hope I get to see Alan around here in the Detroit area, like The Palace or Casino Windsor.  I need the elevators.  I'll even stand up to see him as long as I can hang on to my daughter's arm.
Thanks again for your great information.  Be Happy!!!

I participated in that poll and got a perfect score. Love it. Love Alan. I follow Alan mostly through the fanclub & on twitter. I don't do Facebook. I watched the CMHOF induction live and hated Alan didn't get the nod this time, but I know he will. He's so deserving.
