Dee, Alan is right near us and we can't go. It makes me sad to miss out on seeing him. Sad

Alan bring your coats, it's COLD in sunny Florida!. Dizzy are you going? It has been in the below freezing here
so I hope Alan and The Strayhorns will be warm enough.
IT"S TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fans who are lucky enough to go, ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smiley
BOMANN YOU ENJOY THE CONCERT! STAY WARM

it was a great show last night. i had the long pants and flannel shirt on.didn't need the jacket i brought. but i would much rather be wearing my shorts.we were able to get a spot on the right side of the stage pretty close.it was packed all around us ,but we had plenty of room. the sound was heavy on the low end  where we were. so it was stand in the back or deal with the bass.  we stayed put.i like being up close. a good time was had.

I know what you mean.. I remember when I first met Alan in MS, I teased him asking him"Do you
realize we drove 12 hours to see You" He laughed LOL & then he said "I appreciate that".

We have driven many miles to see Alan over the Years, but we could not go w/him right near us... made me so angry or I should say sad Sad
Dizzy I know you have flown & driven miles & miles to see Alan & The StrayHorns! If he only knew YOU are
a dear, dear AJ Fan.  Kiss
So glad you got to see Alan," Bomann!" AJ is worth the trip and the minute you leave, you miss him.

The longest I've driven to see Alan is 9 hours, and  it was worth it!!!  I like to plan mini trips around some of his concerts.....I'd go to all  AJ concerts if I could.   Something about him and his music that I never tire of...... he's just the BEST!
