I'm planning to buy a ticket to this show.  Will probably head to NY alone.  If anyone from Mass/RI is interested in carpooling down, let me know.

Would love to meet some other AJ fans who are planning to attend.

Hearing Alan's bluegrass songs at this historic venue will be a real treat.

Just read this.  Boy, it would be nice to go to Carnegie Hall.  However, not in the cards for me.  October is gonna be a very busy month for me.

Sorry you can't make it.

2 things on my bucket list - Attending shows at Carnegie Hall and the Ryman.  I accomplished one - I already flew down to Nashville to see Alan at the Ryman in March.  Now I'm hoping to score tix for the Carnegie show next.

Can't wait!

Boston, I was at the Ryman also in March. Don't know when I'll see the tall Blonde Guy again!  Have fun at the Firewoods show and hope you get tickets for Carnegie!

Bummer....I wish you could go to Carnegie.  It would be great to meet.  Hopefully, someday....

That trip to Nashville was such a GREAT experience.  The Ryman show was the highlight.  We sat next to Alan's girls and their friends.   Gayle is on this fan site (I don't know her username here) and Dot was sitting across from me with the "Good Time" cards.   I didn't know it was her so we didn't meet but we're friends on facebook.

Alan signed a poster for me and it was a thrill to see Denise open the show.   I'm already thinking of attending the next charity show at the Ryman next year as I assume there will be one every year and I love to travel (any excuse to see AJ in person).

We did a lot in Nashville and Memphis - we took a backstage tour of the Ryman & the Country Music Hall of Fame had a Patsy Cline exhibit at the time.  We visited Graceland and Sun Studios - it was so much fun.  I love Nashville and all the people I met there.   I know why Southerners are famous for the hospitality.

I was sitting with Dot and Betty, I was sitting on the end, good seats.  I thought it was a great show.  Are we friends on FB?  Did you go with Gayle?  I love Nashville also.  I live in SC so I'm not too far, plus I have a brother in law that lives there.

You were sitting directly across the aisle from me.   YES, it was a GREAT show!

I didn't go with Gayle - we met at the show.  My friend, Susan and I were seated next to Gayle and her husband, Tom.   What a fun night!

Lucky you live so close to Music City.  I'd be there all the time if I lived within easy driving distance.

I'll be online the day the tix. go onsale.

I'll take the train to NYC and get myself over to Carnegie so I hope to meet you there, too.  I'm going to look into hotels this afternoon so I don't have to head home after the show.

Boston, you will have a GOOD TIME at Carnegie Hall, especially since you are going to see the one and only Alan J.
I won't get to see him again in 2013, but was blessed to see him in concert 3 times this years. One in Louisville on
Aug 15th.
Wished we had met at the Ryman in March. As you know it was a marvelous show.
I have been to Foxwood Casino but not when A. J. was there, was visiting a relative in CT.
Also, have a friend who lives in N. H. But doubt I will ever be up east again.
I've known Sharon (Lucky Lady) for several years. We just live too far apart to do anything together but meet up at the concerts sometimes.
Again have fun.

Hi, Dot - Thanks, Dot - I'm really looking forward to Saturday's show at Foxwoods.
I already booked my NY hotel room right down the block from Carnegie Hall.  Now for the ticket.....

Hope we meet at a show in the future.

Betty - let me know if you need a ride, etc. to the show.   I'd love to have someone to carpool with.   I'd rather take my car with me - I hate dragging a bag all over NYC.   I did that a couple of years ago and it was a real PITA.
