So glad to see that Precious Memories Volume 2 has debuted on the overall Billboard chart at #5 this week! Alan Jackson is still selling tons of records, even when they are collections of old hymns! Wonder why radio doesn't realize this? I'm glad to see a country/Christian album right in the middle of a chart filled with rappers and rock stars. What a beautiful record. If you haven't got your copy, get one soon!

Well I'll be dogg; I ordered mine through here & still haven't received it. Knowing me I probably did something wrong!!
Gosh, I hope it moves on up fast......53,====+ is pretty doggone impressive though

GREAT NEWS HARRIET! THANKS! LOVE THIS ONE" Precious MemoriesII." Love esp "Amazing Grace", my Mom's favorite Hymn.
The first one was such a blessing also I took it to my mom's NH in MS before she passed away and took our Laptop computer to play it on. It was a memory I shall never forget, my mom old & feeble but trying to actually lip sync those great hymns she sang in Church! I simply will never forget this "Precious Memory" Thank YOU to Alan.Jeri |

I know Alan will get there one day but I think you are right that those organizations have issues with this humble man and he doesn't make any noise with them but ignored some stupid rules over time.
The fans can only do so much and if you write you get some "nothing" - "thanks for your interest" response back. They can't ignore Alan forever. Lets just wait and see and do like he does - Have a little prayer and tell the Lord about it.
Miracles come from above. Just buy his Volume II Gospel Album. He'd like that now.

How do you find out what # Alan's record is on Billboard and how do you find out how many copies are sold so far. I want him to sell a million! That Gospel album is wonderful and I'm one of the happiest mothers around. Hope Mama Ruth is a happy mom with a wonderful and talented son who is God-loving.
