Hi am writing because I am new at this and I have purchased tickets from the fan club in the preferred seating for the concert in St. John's Newfoundland, Canada and I'm VERY EXCITED!!!!! However, I'm wondering how do I know where I'm seated(what row I'm in?) and how do I receive my tickets? If anyone could help me on this I would greatly appreciate it
You will receive 3 emails from Cindy/Fan Club: first - to confirm your ticket purchase, second - your electronic receipt for your purchase and third - confirmation that your ticket purchase has been processed with a note that states to find out where your seating assignment is/are that you email Cindy back with your name and membership number. She will then email you back your seating assignment info. If you don't hear from her within 2 weeks from when you emailed her back, you can try and call the fan club office. But the important thing here is having a lot of patience in waiting. Tickets are usually being picked up from the venue's WILL CALL tickets window unless otherwise noted. Hope this helps.

Just exactly what do you mean by your "password is screwed up"? What password are you referring to? If it's for your store account, you didn't have to purchase another membership to fix the problem. You actually just need to click on MY ACCOUNT at the Store section/page of this site, enter your email address in the SIGN IN form, leave the password blank and click on where it said, ". . . . . .if you don't know your password, click here." On the page that opens you will be ask again to enter your email address. Enter it there and then click on CONTINUE. Within a second or two you will receive a temporary new password in your email inbox. Go back to the Store section/page of this site and use that new temp password to enter your personal account profile. On the page than opens you will see a list of tasks you wish or need to do there. Click on CHANGE. . .PASSWORD. Change your password to a permanent password of your choice on the next page that opens and that's all there is to it. If you forget it or "screwed it up" again, just do the whole process over again.
If you're referring to password for store discount, it's not your membership number anymore. Cindy has issued one exclusively for all Platinum fan club members to use. Though I believe this is now only for purchase of any merchandize at the AJFC Store, I tried using it to purchase my concert tickets and got a LITTLE discount. . .and I mean just a little. Hope this helps you for next time the password problem arises again.

I was referring to the main password. I tried to go through and enter my email address and that did not work. I hope I did the tickets right because it didn't show where you could select you would like your tickets. I think I feel better because I couldn't select where I wanted the tickets. You have helped a lot BHT. Thank you so much.

Kitty, I'm glad I can help. You're welcome. Now that you've verified the password you were referring to, here's how to change it if you screw it up again or forget what it is without you having to buy another fan club membership:
When you first enter this website notice at the very top of the homepage on the right hand corner where it said NEED HELP? Click on that and it will take you to the page where you will see these two lines: CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT YOUR USER NAME and CLICK HERE TO RESET YOUR PASSWORD. Click on the latter, fill out the form on the following page and, as with changing your password in your AJFC Store account, you will receive in your email inbox, within seconds, a new temporary password. Go back to the website and log in using your temp password. Go to the forum and click on PROFILE from the task bar right above the forum's menu (General Category). That will take you to your personal profile page. Under ACTIONS on the left hand side, click on EDIT PROFILE. That will take you to your MY ACCOUNT page. Enter your email address and a new permanent password of your choice and confirm both then click on SEND at the end of the form. You now have a new permanent password. Let me know if you run into any problems following this instruction. Again, I hope this helps you.

I have a question. I just purchased my first two concert tickets on line for preferred seating. Do the seats just get automatically assigned. I did not see anything where it showed what was available or if I was supposed to request certain seats. Would you please let me know? I know I will be picking up the tickets at will call on the evening of the performance. Thanks for your help.

They will be assigned. You will get an e-mail from Cindy, or two, and then can request to know your seat assignment. It will take about 2 weeks to get the e-mail stating that you can request the seat assignment. Best of luck and enjoy the show. Leslie

I always thought that we could buy preferred seating tickets through the fan club all the time. I bought several and thought that it was the best seating I could get but never got closer than Row 15 I think.
I didn't get a note if this has changed. I am very happy for this. Cindy is a dear sweet and efficient girl. She always helps me when I don't understand something. I won't get to see Alan this year because I need Detroit area in Michigan or Casino Windsor. I will miss that. I loved him at the Palace of Auburn Hills and Windsor. I was lucky enough to go to CT and did the wheel chair thing for the flight and the Mohegan Sun with my daughter who lives in CT. He isn't coming where I can go this year. I'll just play all his music and vote for him everywhere I can. Alanfan

Maybe he'll come in January??? I saw him in November of 2008 at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Then again in Windsor at Caesars and then in CT at Mohegan Sun with my daughter who lives in CT. Good thing she loves Alan also. I will miss getting to see him this year, however. I'd go to any concert that was close and had elevators. My daughter wheeled me around the Casinos in a wheel chair. I can walk but not very far. The Palace is very helpful with escort service for the elderly and handicapped. I am both.
I hope those who get to see him this year will appreciate their luck. What a wonderful show he gives to his audience! The Strayhorns are spectacular also. Alanfan

Cindy,
Here it is almost the end of September..almost time for another Photo c. of Alan.. I must admit that this photo looks nothing like Alan. He always looks so pleasant and kind. This appears very stern. I hope the next one is sweet like Alan is. Now this doesn't mean I don't appreciate the Gift.I love to see what every month is like. Thanks Cindy and Staff, Jerrie-MS
BTW- You and Abby looked so wonderful in CA! when Alan Got his Star! I am so proud for Alan, I know you were!
