Becky, please let us know how your M&G was and what you and Alan spoke about. I have never been lucky enough to win a M&G but I am going to see him next month in Orillia so keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

It was wonderful meeting Alan! Seeing those long legs up close they seem even longer than you expect. There are so many waiting in line to meet him that they don't give you any time to have a conversation. As I watched those ahead of me I realized it would be brief. The gentleman herding us through said "go now" as soon as the person ahead of me had their picture taken. I had a huge smile on my face as I hurried toward Alan and he turned toward me and smiled. When I reached him I shook his hand and told him the same thing he probably hears from all the fans. LOL "I'm so glad to meet you Alan, I love your music." He thanked me. I threw my arm around his back and rubbed my hand up and down! I don't know what came over me but I couldn't resist! He put his arm around me and they took our picture then sent me on my way. As we left the m/g area we are handed an autographed photo of Alan. I'm sooooo glad I won and just wish I could have a real conversation with him.
I hope you all get the opportunity also.

Becky what a great story, so glad you got to meet Alan, hopefully one day I will get the same opportunity. I am seeing him on Sept 28th, and so hoping my name will get drawn for M&G that would be a dream come true for me!!!

So happy for you Becky. It will be 3 years on the 25th that I had mine and I remember every single second as if it were yesterday. It is certainly one of the highlights I think in all of us who meet him. Good for you.

Congrats Becky. I am glad you got the M&G. It is a very short time with him. They should let us visit with him a little longer. It has been 3 years since I had my M&G. I will never forget that experience.
