It looks like KICKS 101.5 started selling tickets yesterday. That can't be right?

Chelybean75, yes, KICKS 101.5 had their pre-sale yesterday and the fan club is having theirs tonight at midnight. However, as I've explained in one of my post above, rows 2-25 at the Floor section (PIT/ORCHESTRA) are reserved for the fan club members who buys their ticket(s) at the fan club's pre-sale event. If you're buying your ticket(s) from the fan club, I hope you see/read this response as the pre-sale is TONIGHT at midnight not tomorrow night. I explained this too in one of my post above. Good Luck!

Enjoy Alan's concert, if you're going! Wish I could afford to. :-(

It's past midnight and I do not see the tickets for sale?  Am I doing something wrong?

Aharb, are you on EST zone? If so, the pre-sale will start at 1AM, which is in about a mnute. The 12AM schedule for CST zone.  Click on Preferred Seating. Hope this helps and Good Luck!

Didn't get tickets, I clicked on exactly at 12:00 a.m, according to the info that came up the Pit tickets were already gone.
Now how could this happen?  Doesn't make sense, I stayed up late just to get the best tickets. If I can't get the best I don't want any at all. Very Upset!!!!

From what I have read it is supposed to be a big shin-dig that hasn't happened in 3 years and it's in a new location. Kix Brooks will also be there. And possible other performers. So this may have something to do with the seating. A lot of priority seating to deal with.

I am certain it will be a great concert, but I was going to have to drive over 300 miles one way. Also, I didn't  want to pay the same price for tickets that wasn't in the pit section.  Guess I have gotten spoiled over the years and want the best seats.  lol   Maybe A. J. will be closer to me before the year ends.
Have you fans ever notice how many people view the things we post? I hadn't paid any attention until I saw it on this one.

I agree Dot, we're a bit spoiled. The second AJ concert I attended my husband & I were 2nd row center (fan club seats)and so far no seats have beat those, but fan club seats afterwards have been awesome.

I agree with you Dot also....My travels from VA to GA would have been costly especially taking a flight, renting a car,  then hotel. I'm spoiled too on not getting the good seats. I'll be watching to see what comes up. Geeeze Betty and I thought we were the priority...LOL

Kicks stated selling/giving away tickets on the 21st. Also the general publcx tickets are already on sale. Pit is all sold out so my guess is those went to the Kicks buyers sellers.

My question of anyone knows is this: Are the fan club tickets offered in the Lower reserved seats or just the reserved seats? Not a whole lot of info mentioned and I hate buying tickets w/o knowing which seat I am buying. Being hearing-impaired the closer I get the better. I don't go to many concerts anymore mostly due to the ticket prices. However I love Alan so I always try.

Shgunter, generally, the tickets sold at the fan club pre-sale are for rows 2 to 25 at the floor section. In this particular venue. . .and the last time Alan performed there, the tickets were for the PIT and ORCHESTRA sections, which are the closest to the stage. . .my family and I were on the 3rd row in the PIT section then and on his recent concert in Columbus, GA, last month, our seats were on the 2nd row in the floor section. If you want to get tickets for at least the first 10 or 12 rows, you have to be able to order your tickets when the fan club's pre-sale starts at midnight of the given day of the pre-sale. . .the start of that day, that is, not at the end. My family and I are going to miss this concert because of the ticket price.

Mary, thanks for that info. I went to KICKS' website to get find out which other artists are going to perform there and there was no info given on that there. I understand now why the increase in ticket price is so high. Wish it's more affordable. I would hate it missing Alan's show this time.

Dot, like Betty, Mary and Kimberleigh, I, too, agree with you. I enjoyed it so much sitting in the PIT section the last time Alan was there. Surely, will miss him. If it's true that the PIT section seats were reserved for the KICKS 101.5 listeners during their pre-sale event, I agree with everyone about it not being fair. Fan club members should have a first crack at that section since we paid membership fees to have that priviledge. But, I'm also thinking that maybe they're not putting chairs in that section and will be using it for something else since this is a Country Fair event. :-(

Well, it sounds like the Atlanta show will be a bust!  I wasn't planning on going because I'll be in Cape Cod at that time.  But now, I'm glad I didn't get tickets.  Did y'all ever get them?  I have gone to some concerts even with FC tickets and had seats that were not close because of pre-sales, etc.  I am another who has gotten spoiled by the 2 row seats.  Maybe I'll see Alan again someday.

I can't go to Atlanta, but would love it if Alan would come to Indy. It's been so long since he was last here. I know there are other fans here because I met some at the Listening Party earlier this month.....

Yes Anita I was shocked when I saw my Visa bill last week 4 tickets cost me $621.50 through the fan club.  I would of liked to gone to both shows but with sending my son away this September to College I just can't afford it, not only that I just saw Alan in April of this year.  I have a friend who works at the casino (Orillia) and he has heard that it is the Casino that sets the price for the tickets.

Would love to meet up with some of Alan's fan's in Orillia, I am going to the Friday night show, who else is going to that show from on here?

Talk soon!!!

Hi, Everyone.... New to this board, in fact, new to Alan.  Not a country music fan, but my 12 year old son has been for years, and AJ is his hero.  For his 12th birthday, took the kids on a roadtrip to see Alan in Columbus back in May and had the opportunity to meet him.....and he was so gracious, so kind to my adoring son (and 9 year old daughter) that he could have gone on stage and hummed for two hours and I would have been sold.  Now going to see him at Verizon in October, and so pumped to have tix in the pit. Maybe some out there know the answer....pit tix are GA?  It's my understanding that there are is no seating in that area?  Not very concerned for myself, but a bit worried about my short stack 9 year old being able to hold her own in General Admission standing room only.  Maybe see some of you there?
