Hello, AJ Friends. I am feeling so much better. I had broken my left shoulder in January & was on the road to healing nicely when a setback due to the formation of scar tissue landed me with the Physical Therapist. Things did not go well at first but last Sunday morning I awoke with no pain for the first time in weeks. PT sessions are going well. My balance is better most of the time though this morning I was wobbly & had to carry the quad cane to PT. At the wedding reception I did very little walking by myself because a part of it was on a shiny hardwood floor which I have a hard time with walking on. However the dancing was done in a part that had a big rug & I just held on to hubby, a little unstaedy but determined to dance at Sam & Natasha's wedding. He is a neat kid, one of my favorite nephews. He is studying for the ministry at Emory & working in the church where they got married. I will share some pics as soon as I get them into my photobucket account.
I am eagerly looking for ward to Alan's album & his appearance on the Opry on GAC.

Elaine, so glad to hear that Todd can be treated for radiation therapy. My prayers for him continue.

Sharon- Sounds like you had a great Mother's Day. My family on my father's side has an annual family Reunion in South GA- Dublin. I visited my country cousins in South Ga many times in Junior High & High School ages.

Jeri- thank you for posting. I know it was not easy & sorry yu have had so much illness & had to miss a concert.
Hugs

Anita- I am definitely feeling better & more optimistic.

JeanB- glad your wife's knee surgery was successful. I did not have any shoulder pain while dancing so that is good. Just a little trouble with balance but hubby held on to me- he is used to it.

Gwen- So glad you got to attend the concert & had such a great time.

BHR- Hope you are doing well.

Hugs to All.

hear that as it means it is slow growing.Teresa

Harriet, thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures.
I like all the pics. What a happy and beautiful couple !
I had my 19 wedding anniversary yesterday, I was with my husband in the same hotel where we had celebrated 19 years ago. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and this morning a large breakfast buffet.
Dear AJ fans, I hope you all have a good time !
Greetings from Switzerland

Jerrie, good to hear from you. I hope you get better soon. So sorry for missing Alan.
Harriet, beautiful pictures. Thanks for sharing.
Susanne, Happy Anniversary to you and hubby !!! have a GOOD TIME and many wonderful years !!!
Elaine, i wish the best  for Todd.
Dizzy & Mazzie, enjoy Nashville.!
Anita, May is a good month for lovers, springtime you know!lol.
Sharon, hope you had a great time in Atlanta.
Kimberly, glad to hear from you.

Very nice weather in Belgium but every day a thunder-storm with floods.  My daughter Nathalie had no medals this year in the swimming  competition. Her best result was a fourth place. She's getting older i said ...lol. We, and she, had a good time at the Special Olympics, that's the main thing.

Enjoy the rest of the week my friends,
Jean

Beautiful pictures Harriet.  You are right, a beautiful bride.  So glad you and your husband were able to go.

Dizzy, you and Maize are the traveling ladies for sure.  Don't you just love a cruise?  Enjoy Nashville.  I don't think you could pay me to go back to Nashville for Fan Fair.  I only wish I had started going 20 years ago.

We had a nice trip to Ala, the drive through Atlanta was a breeze.  I drove both ways.  After driving through Dallas/Ft. Worth a couple of years ago, I told my husband, Atlanta is nothing!

I hope y'all have a very nice Memorial Day.  We have all kinds of festivals going on and the weather is supposed to be nice.  A hot air balloon festival, catfish festival, and other stuff.  I would like to go to the Freedom Weekend Aloft.  I've been several years.  Usually the weather doesn't cooperate and I have only seen the balloons launch once.  But it is fun to walk around.  Jake Owen is one of the featured entertainers this year.

Don't forget to thank our service men and women for the sacrifice they make for our freedom.

Nice you could back to the place it started.
Jean glad you and your daughter had a enjoyable time
at the special olympics.
Sharon enjoy the memorial day events.
I love seeing the air baloons. We have them
here for our winter carnival every year.
It is sunny this morning. The weather is slowley
getting better. Everyone enjoy your long weekend.

Gorgeous weather, but predicting close to 100deg on Sunday.  That's too hot for May!

Harriet - nice pictures of the wedding!
Dizzy & Maize - your travels sound wonderful, have fun!
Jeri - hope you are feeling better soon, take care.
Susanne - Happy Anniversary!
JeanB - glad you had a wonderful time with your daughter at the Special Olympics, that's the most important thing!

Been nursing bone spurs in my right foot - been to the doctor a couple of times and now waiting for custom orthotics.  Nothing seems right when your feet hurt.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend and I salute all the wonderful men & women who serve our country so well!
