Dear Alan,
I still haven't taken the time to figure out this board and how to make things classy so here I go in plain old simple type - I am sure you understand  - I still like Bologna on white bread too -
 Anyway....
Dude - I saw a picture of the Cracker Barrel CD - I read recently that you are not a fan of having your picture taken - BUT do you have to use that picture for EVERYTHING???  The cookbook, the Windsor concert advertising (BTW - they really darkened your moustache too much up there), the new CD?    It is not your best picture and if you need something for a CD I have one that someone told me would make a good album cover.   Besides, we crazy women like lots of Alan looks - preferrably in the same vein as the 5 Oclock somewhere video - you know - white shirt - sleeves rolled up and buttons not all buttoned - or Dude - if this is a love and heartache CD - you could look heartached - AND SCRUFFY!!!   I think you are wonderfully handsome - the the most handsome man on the planet - if you need some different pictures I think I have about 450 in my picture folder and that doesn't even count the ones I have taken at concerts - I would be glad to help... - And I really like the black T shirt in the CB AJ collection - do you think we could get a black sweatshirt with a little blue AJ on the left breast for the store???  I live in Ohio - it gets a little chilly up here in the winter.
OK that is all I wanted to talk about at this time - I wish you much success with the CB collection  and with all future endeavors - I am still hoping to hear that you will be appearing at the what won't be so new arena here in Toledo next spring or summer or soon...take care.....love, Gayle

Gayle, maybe next time Alan needs a picture he can have a contest - he seems to like to involve his fans in some of his projects.  With all of your pictures and some the rest of us have taken at concerts, he should have a wide variety to choose from and then he doesn't even have to go and pose for any new pictures!!!
Just a thought.

Gayle you are way too funny!  I do agree about the picture however. There are so many that could have
been used.  I will still love getting the new album for what's inside.

Gayle   The picture is also on the mug, so since it is on at least four things maybe it was chosen as the one for Cracker Barrel.  Great idea for the next album Gayle and Sherry for him to chose from fan photos. I am sorry and don't be mad at me but, I love that picture         Take Care      nelle

Nelle, I do not mind that picture, but some of the board members here have some really great pictures!!  I think some of those pictures more resemble the man I see in concert and at the M&G I had.  That said, I enjoy seeing all the pictures no matter when they were taken!!

Alan:
Anytime you can come back to the Palace of Auburn Hills, it would be my biggest wish.
The concert was longer there than Windsor and the audience was so much more responsive.  I did, however, like the fact that it was just YOU but wanted you to sing FOREVER.  We came from Detroit area and spent the afternoon and then topped the wonderful day with your beautiful music.  I went home on Cloud 9.  The music rocked but the audience didn't.  You are so spectacular.

Oh my gosh - what night were you in Windsor? I was there on Thursday because my husband is a football official and Friday = football!  The crowd just sat there until they let people up to the stage at the end - and those people came from way back - they didn't give us in the front area a clue that that was happening - I saw Alan in Vegas and it is true the casino shows are shorter but man - I like to stand and dance a little - I wonder what he thinks when the audience just sits there.... I didn't get to Auburn Hills - I saw him in Columbus that trip - I am hoping for Toledo in 2010 - if he comes here and you decide to drive down let me know - we can meet up!
Did you win in Windsor? We did not - we didn't even come close to breaking even....lol  I don't like that casino for gambling...
But I agree with you Alan was terrific that night .....and oh so very, very handsome - except he was clean shaven - Alan dear, when you come to Toledo please leave your razor at home - please? for me???

We were in Windsor on September 18, 2009.  It was a great concert as usual and Alan is handsome no matter what he wears.  I like the long hair and mustache too.  The audience was too "sedate" and if there had been enough of us together we would have had the place rocking.  We had great seats and they were free because I won them.  The gambling in Windsor is not as good as Detroit and I lost but I always plan on losing.  That way I never bring more than I can afford to spend.  The Casino is so big and they have thos huge long excalators and I am somewhat handicapped and can't do those so we did lots of walking and the staff helped us with elevators.  We parked in Valet and then my daughter went and got the car after the show and we were ok.  I just wish the audience had been more responsive.  They did "just sit there".  The Palace was rocking the whole time and even though I'm older, I felt so energetic and enthusiastic.  Anything with Alan is super.

Yes, I hope he comes this way again soon.  He's going to freeze up there is Canada.  Those provices are very cold at that time of year.  We could go and keep him "warm".  He's such a doll.  It would be nice if he comes our way soon.  We'll talk again.  Thanks for writing.  Oh, by the way, my daugher bought me the die cast truck.  It's beautiful!!  I love die cast Ford cars and have many signed ones.       Suzanne

I was at the Palace concert too and loved it.  Could't go to Windsor because we were on our way north to Canada to go fishing.   Would love another Palace or Toledo or anywhere in Michigan, northern Indiana, northern Ohio.  Would really love Grand Rapids.  Saw him there several years ago and would love to see him there again.  Leslie
