hi, for all the countless times ive listened to sissy's song and even played along with the cd on my guitar, the song continues to pull on my heartstrings to the point of tears welling up in my eyes. god bless sissy and alan....

Love this song also.  It is so honest and heartbreaking.  Monday Morning Church also always pulls at my heart.
Alan always seems to do the hurting and love songs so well.....   Yee Haw...

Songs like that and his new song is what I feel grounds Alan and has really for me become his signatures songs.  These type of songs really feel like he is singing from the heart.  It is hard for me to hear Sissy,s song with out a tear coming from my eyes.

Was just watching the video for Sissy's Song on my iPod last night. A very moving & well- written song & video.
It does tend to tug at the heart strings.
