May Feb bring nothing but nice
weather.The snow is nearly gone
here and if it stays this nice the snow
will be gone by the end of the week.
Todd and Deb are coming home in two
weeks. It will nice to see them as they
couldn't make it home for Christmas.

Hello, Friends. Don't get to post as much but am nursing a left shoulder injury, as you probably know & waiting to get an MRI & find out if I will need surgery. The weather is so unusually warm that I can't believe this is January. Something tells me the cold weather will still arrive.
Elaine- Thanks for starting the Febrauy Thread- 29 days this month as it is leap year. Glad you are going to see Todd & Deb, Elaine.

Elaine, thanks for starting the February Thread.
I'm back from my ski vacations in the Swiss mountains.
The wheater was great, many snow, sunshine, but it was so cold. On the top it was - 25 ° or - 13 F !
And now at home it's only a little bit warmer - 15 ° or 5 F.
But it's better the winter is now here, than in March and April.
I wish all AJ Fans a very good time, hold warm and remain healthy.

Thanks for starting the Feb Thread.  We don't have much snow left here either.  I spoke to my aunt in The Netherlands a couple of days ago and they just got 13 centimetres.  They never get that much.  I am enjoying this winter.  I hope we have a great spring and summer.

Harriet, wish you luck for the MRI.

Susi, weather temperatures in Belgium -15° at night and at this moment +2° on monday 3pm.

I'm still remodeling my home ... this time i do the hall and staircase, painting and new wallpaper. Nice job for the winter.

Hi everyone.............Febraury already......we have very mild temps and no snow here either in Southwestern Ontario.  Just came back from a very sad funeral.  A friend of ours he was only 46.  Heart attack and leaves behind wife and 3 small kids ages 11, 8 & 6.  So very sad.  Only 2 months and 2 weeks to go till I get my A.J. fix.  He is playing on April 21.  Yee Haw..............Hopefully some of you will be lucky to see him again this year.  Everyone stay safte please.  Best wishes to all!

Gwen, that is sad, feel sorry for the family.
Harriet, hopefully you won't need surgery.
Can't believe Feb got here so quickly. Also, can't believe the weather we have had this year. So far almost like spring everyday. Something doesn't seem right, never seen it this warm in Jan and Feb. but I am not complaining. Three years ago we had a bad ice storm, don't ever want one of those again.

Hello you Fans! I have missed you all since being ill.
we somehow seem to have missed winter almost here, The trees are already budding out now, so that is a clue we wont have much more really cold weather.I'm just grateful we have had no storms and I hope you all haven't either.
Harriet, I hope you wont have to have surgery, I read the posts here, Hugs and prayers that you will be ok, whatever the future holds concerning the MRI.
All of you who haven't been up to par, I have thought of you all.Prayers for all of you and your hurts over family matters or friends.I offer my prayers & concern to you going through hard times.Elaine stay well, I'm not sure of that Concert name, but my Grands might know. ha!Glad your Kelsey is fine..Sue take care, Dizzy & sis, Dot,Harriet, well All of you Gwen,Kathy,Jean/az ,Jean/B and sweet Nelle take care. May is not getting here fast enough for me.. ha Wish I had gotten the other Venue first, since it has a M&G, but maybe Dizzy you can go there. Take care Everyone and stay well
I'm still voting for Alan every chance I get.. My DJ played it on Gator Country but the Song came in at 300 + and I was
so disappointed. It is playing more on WQIK.com and higher up. Love the Song & Alan's Voice sounds so Great!
I hope he sings it when we go to see him in May Yea! Bye for now, Jerrie

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE - ESPECIALLY TO ALAN AND HIS FAMILY.
Sorry to hear of illnesses and deaths.  It's a tough month for me also.  Lost my father
at 7 years old on the 7th of February.  God provides.  I am now a Senior; have 5 kids of
my own, lost a husband to a heart attack 9 years ago.  But I am relatively well and simply
needing an Alan fix since my Windsor concert got cancelled.  I just neeed a place like
the Palace of AUburn Hills, or Windsor Casino with an elevator for my arthritis.
I keep going and try not to gripe and to stay upbeat.  It works for me and I'm lucky.  Waiting for Alan again.

hard time each year on special occassions
I t is cold here this morning. Only 25. We have

Elaine, thanks for starting the February thread. This has certainly been a real unusually warm winter.
Gwen, thoughts, prayers and condolences to your friend's family and YOU. So, sorry to hear of his passing.
Harriet and Jeri, speedy recovery and good health. Harriet, still praying that you won't go through another surgery.
Alanfan, Happy Valentine's Day to you too. . .and to everyone here.
Susane, Anita, JeanB, Dot, Dizzy, Jinx, Kathy and everyone else I may have missed, hello and well wishes.

I saw my doc today for my annual check up and found out my bad cholesterol had gone up again while my good cholesterol had gone up too. I've been "ordered" to stop eating unhealthy food, cut down on my fat intake and do more exercising. My BP also is a little bit elevated so he increased the dosage of the med I'm taking. That would explain too why I have been feeling light headed and experiencing mild dizziness the last couple days. I'm still feeling it a bit and been resting and trying to stay relax. Also been having sore left knee off and on since last fall and finally had my doc take a look at it. He said it's probably bone alignment issue and told me to take Tylenol or Ibuprofen for the pain and if it gets worse to see him again and will get X-ray done. Meanwhile, I was told to lay off climbing the stairs for now. We have 3 sets of 3 steps to climb up going to our apartment unit and down back to the parking lot to get to our car. But, we also have a walkway/ramp for handicaps to use just a little ways from the stairs. That's what I'm using now. Isn't getting old just so much fun? LOL! Sorry, didn't mean to be whining here. . .or sound like one.

Take care, everyone and HUGS.

Hello to Elaine, Susie, Anita, JeanB, Gwen, Dot, Jeri. Alanfan, BHR & all the rest of Alan's great fans. I have mostly good news regarding my fall & injured shoulder. I had the MRI os Tues & saw the doctor today. He said my rotator cuff is fine, meaning I will not need surgery, but there is a broken bone right under the rotator cuff which will have to heal.
Friends, I am so relieved & blessed to know that I do not need surgery. Will just take my time & let the broken bone heal. I want to thank all of you for your support & concern. Will be reading the board & doing some catching up in the coming days. The broken bone did not show up on x-ray initially because of the swelling but it showed up on the MRI. I am so happy & wanted to share this with all of you.
Alan's chart numbers are still looking good & will post them under Music Discussion.
Finally- Hurray!
