According to handwriting analyst, Alice Weiser (The Writer Stuff - CW Jan. 23rd issue - Brad P./Carrie U./Jason A. on the cover):

"What I see mainly is that his first and last name are (written) the same size. That's always good sign and I think it's important to note. It means that you are comfortable with yourself and your family. If you write your first name larger than your second name, that means you think more of yourself than you do of your family. And vice versa as well. The open "A" indicates that he will tell you what he thinks. And the long ending usually means caution. He will think before making a decision. He also has a little bit of wit that I can see."

Alan is also featured on another section of the magazine and have a great full page photo on the last page (The Last Word section).

I think she was right on with her analysis of Alan's handwriting. Funny about comments on his signature on your tailgate. I had an 8X10 picture of Alan sitting on a Harley on my desk for years, and "non-country" people there asked me if he was my husband. I love Alan, but I am happily married, just like him.

I was just thinking the same as you."Right On The Money" Alan has a great sense of humor! One has to love themselves
first, to love Anyone, This sounds perfect for Alan..He's all love and family oriented. He's obviously made good decisions to have  a lingering career this long, and still going strong too!
